Within this course, students will learn basic principles of human behavior. As a result of this knowledge, students should gain self-understanding and improved interpersonal relationship skills. The end goal will be the delivery of conscientious, personalized care which conveys respect and sincerity. Current technology will be utilized to master course standards. Students are provided the opportunity to participate in a Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO).

Standard 1: Challenges and Satisfactions of Being a Health Care Provider (0725.S.1)

Students will develop an awareness of the realities of a health career in relationship to challenges, responsibilities, problems, and satisfactions.
