Clerk’s Report:The Village received $8109.92 in lottery creditThe Board will need to approve Village President, Gene Goode to be put on all Village accounts and added a signer on the Premier and Farmers State Bank accounts. All accounts will need to have Dan Sambs removed.Unfinished Business from Previous meetings New Business:Ordinance Committee: Set a date in May to review all liquor license applications. Typically done before next board meeting which is 5/11/2021Further discussion on the Cobblestone Hotel project and if the Village is interested in pursuing this project.Annual Fire Board meeting will be held on 5/3/21Fremont Area Chamber of Commerce is requesting a street closure from Wolf River Drive between West Main Street to Franklin Street to celebrate River Days. The closure would be 7/3/21 from 9:00am – midnight. American Legion would like to request a street closure on 5/31/21 at 10:00am – 11:00am for the Memorial Day parade. The closure would Wolf River Drive from Fillmore Street to Main Street and Main Street to Waupaca Street. The Tri County 4H Club would like to get approval for their annual brat fry in the Village parking lot across from the old Mobil station on 6/27 from 2:00pm – 9:00pm. General Code estimate to update Code books and ECode 360 in the amount of $655.00-$755.00Steph Hanson from St. Peter and Paul’s Catholic Church would like to hold a brat fry on 5/15/21 from 10:00am – 2:00pm for the church youth group. CommunicationsThe Village of Fremont will be using a new form- Agenda Item Request Form, which will be used moving forward for all people who request to be on our agenda.
