Based on change management best practices and further adapted using material from this toolkit, this worksheet can also be used for senior leaders who have agreed to support the change. Work through this sheet in the following steps:Identify Stakeholders: List groups who require support / face-to-face meetings with the sponsor. Organize them by priority (see the Prioritization Matrix below for a graphic illustration to aid in determining priority).Define: Decide what kind of support or engagement with the sponsor is required (face to face, email communication, Q&A, etc.).Prioritize Events: Identify the most important events you need your sponsor for. This will help them gauge the level of support required (not to mention help manage a busy calendar).Factors when determining the importance of the event can include visibility / how many recipients will be addressed (organization-wide vs. one-on-one engagement), level of engagement (Q&A vs. speech), and where the event falls in the change management process (kickoff meeting vs. touch point). Schedule: Propose dates for the sponsor that line up with critical stages in the change management process.
