Reiki Training Courses and Attunement

I would like to introduce Reiki to you. This amazing therapy can be practiced after a single training course. Practitioners work through three degrees:

← The first degree takes (12 - 14 hours training plus 40 hours self-directed study) and afterwards a practitioner can treat themselves and their friends/relatives (informally).

← The second degree (12 - 14 hours plus 70 hours self-directed study) is taken 4 – 6 months later and enables a practitioner to treat clients as well. Distance healing also becomes available after 2nd degree.

← Usui Reiki Practitioner Course (Usually taught at least three months after Reiki I) 30 hours this usually spread over several weeks – this includes self-directed study. (CNHC approved) 

← Usui Reiki Master Practitioner Course (Usually taught six months after Reiki II) 40 hours – this includes self-directed study. This is usually spread over several weeks. (CNHC approved)

← The third degree is aimed at those who wish to enhance their practitioner skills. This training takes 14 - 16 hours face to face plus another 70 hours self-directed study and is only available after at least 4 months of practice at 2nd degree.

← Master Teacher is aimed at those who wish to teach others. It takes 20 – 24 hours plus a further 90 hours self-directed study and includes observed teaching.

Reiki is an ancient system of healing, rediscovered in the 19th Century. The word Reiki means universal life force or energy and during treatment the practitioner acts as a channel through which this healing energy flows into the client. It is thought that the energy flows to the areas where it is needed and it is commonly experienced as feelings of love, heat or tingling.

During a Reiki session, the client remains fully clothed, usually either lying on a couch or seated. The practitioner works on the physical body and in the energy field around the body following their intuition about where the healing is needed for the highest good of the client.
