Proclamation
Pursuant to 12 U.S.C. ?? 95(b)(1), national banking associations are authorized, at their discretion, to close offices on Wednesday (December 5, 2018), in any state in which the governor or other authorized official has declared a legal holiday in recognition of the National Day of Mourning for President George H. W. Bush.
Additionally, pursuant to 12 U.S.C. ?? 1463(a)(1)(A) and 3102(b), federal savings associations and federal branches and agencies of foreign banks may also close their offices Wednesday (December 5, 2018) at their discretion in recognition of the National Day of Mourning for President Bush.
