HEALTH SCIENCE: PRE-PHYSICAL THERAPY CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Science in Health Science Pre-Physical Therapy degree curriculum is designed to produce graduates capable of demonstrating those characteristics identified as desirable by employers of tomorrow's health care professionals. The student majoring in Health Science graduates with general health-related knowledge to be used as the basis for work in a health-care setting. The Health Sciences degree also provides the basis for students to pursue graduate education in Physical Therapy or other health care and science-oriented arenas. Additionally, students who already have an Associate of Arts (AA) degree who wish to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree and return to work in a related health arena would benefit from the Health Science degree. The Health Science/Pre-Physical Therapy undergraduate degree is ideal for students interested in pursuing the graduate degree in Physical Therapy.
