Statement of relevance for AEG applicants

[Pages:1]Statement of relevance for AEG applicants

The statement of relevance is a short text in which the student presents and discusses his or her qualifications and competences relevant to the Master's Degree Programme in Anthropology of Education and Globalisation (AEG) in terms of: 1) academic background and 2) other relevant experience. The statement of relevance must be no more than two pages (4800 characters) and should address the following:

- How your bachelor's degree is relevant to and qualifies you for the AEG programme (highlight relevant courses, including your BA project and elective courses). Remember to indicate the number of ECTS points.

- How and to what extent relevant courses or assignments as part of your BA degree were based on research/theories related to the fields of anthropology and/or educational science.

- Work experience and international, cultural or organisational experience of relevance to the AEG programme (indicate type and length of employment/periods abroad/voluntary work)

Priority will be given to applicants on the basis of an assessment of academic background (75%) and other relevant experience (25%). See detailed assessment criteria here. The statement of relevance is mandatory and the assessment committee will only assess applications that include a statement of relevance (regardless of your grade point average).

For more information about the AEG programme's courses and profile, please consult the Academic Regulations for the Master's Degree Programme in Anthropology of Education and Globalisation here.
