Select two of the following assignments. The due date for these assignments is 5/28/2014
1. Pretend you are the set designer for Twleve Angry Men and construct a
3-D miniature set for the production. Make sure to look at how the set is described in the play for accuracy.
2. Create a “Playbill” for Twelve Angry Men. Make sure that you create your own and do not simply copy those in existence from previous productions.
3. Write and deliver a closing argument as though you were EITHER the prosecutor or the defense attorney based on the information given in the play. Limit your argument to no more than 5 minutes.
4. Pick a partner and with that partner write a script for an interview with one of the jurors after the verdict was rendered. One will be the interviewer and the other will be the one juror (you choose the juror). Interview should be 5 minutes long and be accurate to the character you choose.
5. Pretend you are the young man accused of murder. Write a journal entry describing how you felt AFTER you heard the verdict. Use the four (at least) paragraph format for your journal.
6. You are the court appointed artist. Create sketches of the courtroom including the defendant, jurors, judge, witnesses, etc.
7. You are casting director of the latest film version of the play. Who would you cast in the role of each juror and why? Be specific when explaining your reasons for casting each of the actors/actresses for each role.
