Procedures for manually setting the IP address on the B8300
1. Press the Menu Button 3 times.
Operator Panel Display
“Key operator Programs”
2. Press the “OK” button.
Operator panel display reads “Enter Key Operator Code”
“_ _ _ _ _”. Press the ▲ arrow and then press the “OK” button. Repeat this action 5 times until operator panel reads. “00000”.
3. Press the “OK” button
Operator panel display reads “Account Control”.
Press the ▼ arrow 5 times until the operator panel reads “System Settings”.
4. Press the “OK” button. The operator panel reads “Default Settings”.
Press the ▼ arrow 2 times until the operator panel reads “Network Settings”
5. Press the “OK” button, Operator panel reads “IP Address setting”
Press the “OK” button. If DHCP is enabled you have to press the ▼ arrow to disable DHCP.
Then press “OK” twice. The 4 Octets will appear on the operator panel.
At this point, press the OK button to move the cursor to the right, press the BACK button to move the cursor to the left, and change the number values with the ▼ and
▲ Arrow buttons.
Once the changes have been made, press the MENU button.. The Operator Panel will read “Rebooting NIC”. When the printer finishes initializing, the Operator panel will read “Ready”.
