Daylight Savings Time Notice - OATI

Daylight Savings Time Notice

Please keep in mind that parts of Indiana (Carmel included) will  spring forward in observance of Daylight Savings Time (DST) on Sunday,  March14 , 2010  at 0200 EST. Midwest ISO systems and corresponding market timing will remain on Eastern Standard Time (EST).

A few things to remember:

-Midwest Market bids and offers will be evaluated in Eastern Standard Time (EST). However, Market Participants should evaluate whether adjustments to bids and offers are needed since business work hours will change relative to this standard.

-All requests made on the Midwest ISO OASIS will be evaluated in Eastern Standard Time (EST), and all products will be sold in EST. The times noted in Attachment J, of the Open Access Transmission Tariff Business Practices - Module B of the Tariff, will also be evaluated against EST.  The day-ahead market closing (1100EST) and posting times (1600EST) will remain on EST as well.

-The MW profile of every pre-reserved Ramp Reservation must exactly match the submitted tags. Ramp Reservations that are not pre-reserved will be auto-created by the Ramp Reservation System.

-The Midwest ISO requests that Market Participants carefully review information submitted to ensure that timing is on Eastern Standard Time and is not on Daylight Savings Time.
