Last year was our first-ever virtual experience, and boy was it a whirlwind! We can't thank our incredible sponsors enough for riding the crazy virtual wave with us through the pandemic. We have one more Virtual Conference ahead of us before we can get back together again inperson, next year in Anaheim. So let's talk GameStop Virtual Conference, Round 2!
Last year we learned a lot about the virtual experience. We also have a full year of feedback from Store Leaders and Vendors to help guide us through what worked in the virtual world, and what didn't. We've spent the last 7 months re-thinking the virtual experience and finding ways to up our new virtual game. This year, you can expect to get as close to an in-person GameStop Conference experience as possible in a virtual world.
So get ready to wow the most passionate and knowledgeable sales force in the gaming and collectibles industry...and, get ready to GO LIVE!

Pre or Post Virtual Conference, let's throw a pre-order contest for our SLs! GameStop will facilitate contest. Vendor to provide prizing, at a minimum one winner per Division (3), but it's even better to plan for eighteen prizes, one per region!
Conference App Splash Screen
We're bringing back the Conference app this year! The great news about the app is that vendors can join and get in on the fun! Sponsor the main splash screen and be the vendor all our SLs think about every time they open the app! * 1 Available
Conference App Scrolling Banner
You might remember from what feels like 10,000 years ago, but the App highlights scrolling banners across the top of every page! This is a great way to get front and center throughout the entire Conference experience. These are hi-res and look amazing. They can also function as a click-through as well! Capture one of these hi-profile scrolling banners to be literally top of mind at Conference this year! * 10 Available
Conference App Contests
The Conference app gives us the opportunity to chat real-time with SLs through push notifications and a live activity feed! This is a great option for us to capture content like photos or comments. Last year we had some great success with fun photo contests. Sponsor a photo contest for the 2021 GameStop Conference in our Conference app! * 4 Available (Vendor must provide prizing, minimum one per Division: Northeast, Southeast, West)
App Push Notifications
Most of the time, we decide what to push to attendees phones, but this year we're opening it up and giving you the chance to pop up in their world! This is a great opportunity if you're planning a live stream during Expo, or do a giveaway in your booth at a certain time! This is also a fun way to tell them you're excited about seeing them that morning for your General Session! Or...a really fun way to use this...build a custom GameStop website landing page with a click to win prize or some type of engagement prize. Then use the push notification to send them there!
PC Gaming Tournament
We gotta brag on our accessory vendors for a minute here...the GameStop Players Cup, AKA the PC Tournament, was the bomb last year! The peripherals, the team competition, the vendors interacting in discord with the players...our SLs RAVED about this experience. So you can bet that we're bringing it back this year. We have a new idea to open this up to a wider audience, and we're on the hunt for an awesome new game to play this year. We just need our 2021 PC Sponsor Teams...where you at?

Logo'd Avatar Tee
This year, all attendees will have to build their own Avatar! And they get to choose what top their Avatar wears from what's available in the GameStop closet! We can put your Company logo on an Avatar tee and Attendees will have the choice to choose your tee to wear that day in the Virtual World! You logo tee will be available all three days! * 3 Available

Have a hunkering to see a life size Xbox One X, PS5 or Switch in our Virtual World? What about Laura Croft, Link, or Princess Zelda? We can drop in your fully custom 3D character into our Virtual World for SLs to interact with!

Did you know the greatest power forward of all time received his scholarship offer to Wake Forest in a pickup game? I don't know that we'll get any college offers, but our SLs will have the chance to play some virtual pick up basketball in our virtual world...so cool! Last year this was a HUGE hit! Sponsoring breakfast, lunch & snacks for the Store Leaders is truly the way to their `s. Here's how this works, you sponsor this opportunity and the GameStop team takes over from there. But you get all the credit! If you sponosred one of these last year, you know how thankful the SLs were and how many photos we got with them showcasing your sponsorship. Make sure to grab one of these ASAP... they'll go fast!
Wake Wp With Us!
Okay, let's be real...our SLs have a Starbucks and Dunkin' addiction...just like us! Hey, there's nothing like caffeine to propel the best sales force in the industry! Make sure our SLs are waking up on Conference mornings with YOU by sponsoring this opportunity. If you want to take it to the next level, you can even design a coffee collar or travel mug we can send them in advance! Sponsorship includes: Starbucks virtual e-gift card co-branded with your logo and GameStop's logo. Lunch Love!
Here's now this works, you sponsor this opportunity and the GameStop team takes over from there. We will purchase a digital gift card for each SL, which they will receive the day before. You get to custom design the gift card image and create a fun write up that we'll feature on the app, on the website, on GSO and in the email the SL received with the digital code! Regional Refreshments!
At the close of Conference, our Regional Directors will be hosting Virtual Breakouts. This is the time when our teams breakout and talk about everything they've seen and heard from you over the past few days. Sponsor one of our Division's refreshments during their breakout call. Snack & Stretch!
Virtual experiences are a bit different than moving around a convention center. While we plan to present content to our SLs over a variety of platforms, they'll be looking at a screen several hours at a time. It's so important that they take a little break, recharge and stretch it out! Think about creating a fun video with one of your influencers, or celebrity talent creating some fun stretching videos catered to gamers! This can be a great opportunity to have some fun with our SLs! Vendor to create fun, engaging, wellness video (Stretching, meditation, etc.). GameStop to provide snack in pre-Conference SL kit with note from you! * 3 Available
General Session & GSTV Opportunities
General Session Presentations:
Showcase your vision for holiday with one of our coveted General Session spots! Keep this presentation creative, over the top, and something never before seen by our Store Leaders for the most impact. Video Presentations can be 20 minutes long. This year, General Sessions will be pre-recorded and broadcast via our Conference Tech Platform, Event Farm. Video presentations must be pre-recorded and submitted to Samantha Vogel for review by Monday, September 6th.
Launch Week Morning GSTV Ad Spots:
These were so fun last year and really made Store Associates feel extra special! Create a 2 -5 minute video ad to be played specifically for ASLs and SLs on GSTV the morning of your major launch day! This is a great way to pump-up the best-in-class gaming sales force to make your 2021 launch the best one yet! Vendor to create and film spot to send to Samantha Vogel for review. Ads must be submitted two week prior to air date.
Vendor Training Rooms & Show Guide Ads
Double Vendor Training Room: 45-Minutes
You read that right...we're bringing back Double VTRs! LevelUp VTRs last year were great and y'all did a wonderful job creating content with our LevelUp Guru, Daniel. But, SLs missed not bring able to interact 1:1 with you. This year, with more experience under our belt, we've found an awesome platform, Event Farm, that will allow us to host VTRs with a more in-person Conference Feel. These 45-minute slots will be a combination of live interaction and pre-recorded content. That means if you secure a Double VTR, you must have a live element to your session. We'll show you how this works, but think normal Conference experience, just over a laptop screen! * 6 Available
Single VTR: 20 Minutes
Single VTRs are 20 minute segments. Just like our Doubles, you have the option to do a hybrid presentation with live interaction from a presenter(s) and pre-recorded content. However, we will also give you the leeway to pre-record all of your content, if you choose. But remember, the more engagement you can create, the better! * 9 Available ALL VTRS: LevelUp Guru Daniel West will create a mission based on your VTR for ASLs & GAs. You will approve content but not have to create it! This is a fantastic (and easy) way to train every store associate on your Q4 content. You'll have an army of sales associates ready to increase your sales during holiday!
Show Guide Ads
SLs just love the hard copy Show Guide! They collect these over 5, 10, 15+ years as souvenirs and we can't deprive them of that! So, we'll be creating the hard copy, spiral bound, 2021 GameStop Conference Show Guide and mailing it to all Store & Field Leaders in the pre-Conference kit. The Show Guide is 5.5" wide x 8.5" high, full color, spiral bound with tabs so the attendees can easily find the sections.
