One MAFFS C-130 airtanker and support personnel from the 302nd Airlift Wing (Air Force Reserve), one
MAFFS C-130 airtanker and support personnel from the 152nd Airlift Wing (Nevada Air National Guard), one
MAFFS C-130 airtanker from the 146th Airlift Wing (California Air National Guard), and one MAFFS C-130
airtanker from the 153rd Airlift Wing (Wyoming Air National Guard) have been deployed to Port Hueneme, CA
to support wildland fire operations nationally.

Telephone, Malheur NF, USFS. Sixteen miles northeast of Burns, OR. Timber and grass. Active fire behavior
with short crown runs, running and spotting. Numerous structures threatened. Evacuations, area, road and trail

Ritter, Burns District, BLM. Thirteen miles northeast of Crane, OR. Timber, brush and grass. Active fire
behavior with flanking, backing and creeping. Residences threatened.
Retreat, Southeast Region, Washington DNR. CIMT (NR Team 1). Started on private land 14 miles southeast
of Naches, WA. Timber and brush. Active fire behavior with uphill runs, single tree torching and short-range
spotting. Numerous structures, communication and energy infrastructure threatened. Area, road and trail
closures in effect.
Pyramid, Willamette NF, USFS. CIMT (CA Team 5). Seventeen miles northeast of Cascadia, OR. Timber.
Moderate fire behavior with backing, creeping and short-range spotting. Area, road and trail closures in effect.
Precipitation occurred over the fire area yesterday.
Battle Mountain Complex (2 fires), Pendleton Unit, Oregon DOF. IMT 1 (ODF Team 3) and IMT 1 (ODF
Team 1). IMT is also managing the Courtrock fire. Eight miles north of Ukiah, OR. Timber, grass and brush.
Active fire behavior with running, group torching and spotting. Numerous structures threatened. Evacuations,
area, road and trail closures in effect.
Courtrock, Fossil Unit, ODF. Seven miles south of Monument, OR. Timber, grass and brush. Active fire
behavior with flanking, isolated torching and backing. Numerous structures threatened. Evacuations, area and
road closures in effect.
Badland Complex (2 fires), Vale District, BLM. CIMT (RM Team 2). Three miles northeast of Durkee, OR.
Brush and timber. Moderate fire behavior with creeping, isolated torching and smoldering. Structures, energy,
communication infrastructure and sage-grouse habitat threatened. Evacuations, area, road and trail closures in
effect.
Durkee, Vale District, BLM. CIMT (SA Team 3). IMT is also managing the Cow Valley fire. Started on private
land one mile west of Durkee, OR. Grass and timber. Active fire behavior with flanking, backing and
smoldering. Numerous structures, energy and communication infrastructure threatened. Evacuations, area and
road closures in effect.
Cow Valley, Vale District, BLM. Started on private land nine miles east of Ironside, OR. Brush and grass.
Minimal fire behavior.
Pioneer, Southeast Region, Washington DNR. CIMT (NW Team 3). CIMT (CA Team 15) mobilizing. IMT is
also managing the Easy fire. Started on private land 10 miles southeast of Stehekin, WA. Timber and grass.
Active fire behavior with creeping, flanking and single tree torching. Numerous structures threatened.
Evacuations, area, road and trail closures in effect. Precipitation occurred over the fire area yesterday.
Easy, Okanogan-Wenatchee NF, USFS. Seventeen miles west of Mazama, WA. Timber and brush. Active fire
behavior with creeping, backing and single tree torching. Structures threatened. Trail and area closures in
effect. Precipitation occurred over the fire area yesterday.
Diamond Complex (8 fires), Umpqua NF, USFS. CIMT (NW Team 7). IMT is also managing the Middle Fork
fire. Eighteen miles southwest of Chemult, OR. Timber and brush. Moderate fire behavior with flanking,
backing and isolated torching. Numerous structures threatened. Evacuations, area, road and trail closures in
effect.
Middle Fork, Crater Lake NP, NPS. Fourteen miles northeast of Union Creek, OR. Timber and brush.
Moderate fire behavior with flanking, backing and isolated torching. Trail closures in effect.
Lone Rock, Prineville District, BLM. Transfer of command from CIMT (NW Team 2) to CIMT (SW Team 2) will
occur tomorrow. Started on county land 10 miles southeast of Condon, OR. Timber and grass. Minimal fire
behavior with backing, isolated torching and smoldering. Numerous structures threatened. Evacuations have
been lifted. Area, road and trail closures in effect.
Crazy Creek, Ochoco NF, USFS. CIMT (SW Team 5). Sixteen miles northeast of Paulina, OR. Timber, brush
and grass. Active fire behavior with running, torching and spotting. Residences threatened. Evacuations, area,
road and trail closures in effect.
Microwave Tower, The Dalles Unit, Oregon DOF. Five miles southwest of Mosier, OR. Timber and grass.
Moderate fire behavior with backing, creeping and smoldering. Numerous structures threatened. Evacuations,

Whisky Creek, Mt. Hood NF, USFS. Six miles southeast of Cascade Locks, OR. Timber and light slash.
