Allied Gardens Recreation Center

Outside area includes two (2) lighted basketball courts, large playground, picnic area and a lighted multi-purpose area. A Recycling bin is located in the parking lot accepting metal, aluminum, plastic bottles, newspaper, magazines and cardboard.

Registration Information

Class Registration

Registration is on a first come first served basis. Our recreation center is now processing online registration for classes and leagues. Fees are payable by check, money order, exact cash and now credit cards at the time of registration. There will be a $35.00 service charge on all returned checks. All classes are subject to change or cancelation. There will be no refunds after the first class. Class fees are not prorated or discounted after the beginning of the session. NonCity of San Diego residents will be required to pay an additional fee per class. Classes are subject to minimum enrollment. Registration days and times are subject to change without notice.

Therapeutic Recreation Services

All activities accommodate people with disabilities. Upon availability, Therapeutic Recreation Services staff will provide additional assistance from recreation staff requiring a three week advance notice. An assessment will be made to determine if a one-on-one aide is needed. Therapeutic Recreation Services is a Citywide program that provides recreation opportunities for people with disabilities. More information is available by calling them at (619) 525-8247 or (619) 525-8249.

For more information about reserving the following neighborhood parks for sporting events, picnics, parties etc., please call the Center Director at (619) 235-1129 to make an appointment.

Permit Processing

Permits will only be accepted with a scheduled appointment, which may be made with the Center Director. Permits must be filed ten (10) working days before an event. To schedule an appointment, please contact the Center Director at (619) 235-1129 .

You may register online for all contractual programs offered by the Recreation Council using the Online Activity Registration System.

First Time Online User: New Accounts ? Click on the "Create Account" button.

Fill out the New Account request form completely, Including all required fields (Birth date, gender, email address, etc.) and click submit. Please submit your request ONLY once. You will receive a conformation email at the email address that you provided. Please follow directions provided to activate account.

*Please Note: (For first time users only) Parents/ Guardian MUST create their own account first using their information. Once you have created an online registration account, you will have an opportunity to add a child/children as a family member.

Effective September 8, 2015, service fees will apply as follows for all transactions.

For Online Registrations, $2 Transaction fee and 3% Processing fee will be charged for every transaction and the fees are nonrefundable

For In-house Registrations, $2 Transaction fee will be charged for every transaction and the fee is nonrefundable.

This free crafting class is to encourage children from 7-14 years old to use their imagination and create a beautiful masterpiece!
