7:00am Buses arrive at Sylacauga High School, 701 N. Broadway Avenue – Sylacauga, AL 35150

CST (Approximately 480 miles / @ 8 ½ hours)

7:30am Depart for Orlando, FL.

Meals and rest stops at group’s discretion.

@3:30pm Arrive at the Buena Vista Suites

Check-in, unpack and freshen up.

6:30pm Depart for Fun Spot America. Fun Spot America is an Innovative Multi Level Attraction where you “Drive the Ride” on our patented multi-level go-kart tracks, rides and attractions. You can experience Orlando’s only wooden roller coaster “White Lightening” and over a 100 games in our 10,000 sq ft arcade.

Unlimited pizza & soda for one (1) hour.

Return to your hotel.

Friday – February 21, 2014

8:30am Breakfast at the hotel.

9:00am Depart for Universal Studios Florida (Open 9:00am – 7:00pm) – Go behind the scenes, beyond the screen, and jump right into the action of your favorite movies at Universal Studios®, the world's premier movie and TV based theme park. Enjoy rides such as Despicable Me Minion Mayhem, Hollywood Rip Ride Rocket, Revenge of the Mummy, Shrek 4-D and so much more – AND - Universal’s Islands of Adventure (Open 9:00am – 8:00pm) – Explore The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™. Join the battle of good versus evil above the streets of Marvel Super Hero Island®. Get splash happy with your favorite cartoon characters in the water rides of Toon Lagoon®. Come face to face with the dinosaurs of Jurassic Park®. Venture through the mists of time as you experience the epic adventures of The Lost Continent®. Saturday – February 22, 2014

7:00am Breakfast at the hotel.

TBA Depart for the Old Amway Arena parking lot.

TBA Daytona 500 Massed Band Rehearsal at Old Amway Arena parking lot

TBA Rehearsal concludes, load buses and depart for Orlando.

TBA Depart for a second day of play in Universal Studios Florida (Open 9:00am – 8:00pm) AND Universal’s Islands of Adventure (Open 9:00am – 8:00pm).

Lunch on your own.

5:30pm Meet in front of Blue Man Group.

6:00pm Show Begins! Blue Man Group Performances feature three enigmatic bald and blue characters who take the audience through a multimedia sensory experience that combines theater, percussion, music, art, science, and vaudeville into a form of entertainment that is like nothing else. Each show features audience participation ad improvisation, making each performance as different as the audience.

7:45pm Show Ends! Walk as a group to NASCAR Sports Grille.

8:15pm Dinner at NASCAR Sports Grille.

Return to your hotel.

Sunday – February 23, 2014

GENTLEMEN (and ladies)… START YOUR ENGINES!!! Let’s go racing!!!!

5:45am Breakfast at the hotel. (Pack and check-out)

6:45am        Depart for the Old Amway Arena parking lot.

7:15 am All buses to meet at Old Amway Arena for staging – all students should arrive in uniform.

7:30am Depart as a group to the Daytona 500 Speedway.

@9:30am Arrive at the Speedway. Buses will be parking at Gate TBA in the bus parking lot.

9:45am Students to get off the buses and gather their instruments. Line up for the Tram to the TBA to stage for performance. Each Tram holds about 75 passengers and run continuously to the TBA. Once at the TBA there will be time to warm-up and use the restrooms.

10:45am Line up for Performance.

11:00am March out onto Pit Road.

11:20am MASS BAND PERFORMANCE!

11:40am March off of Pit Road back to the TBA.

11:50am Line up at the TBA to take the Tram back to the Super Stretch to your buses. Change out of uniforms and return instruments to the bus.

12:30pm Tickets and Boxed Lunches will be handed out- Walk as a group to the entrance of the Speedway to your seats. Please note: bus drivers need to stay with the buses at all times.

1:00pm Enjoy the 56th running of the DAYTONA 500. Forty-three of the top drivers in the world compete in the “Great American Race”, NASCAR’s biggest, richest and most prestigious motorsport event.

Race concludes - Depart for home with “Memories worth Repeating”!!!
