WHAT TO BRING:

Troop 91 Sea Base Daily Itinerary

Date Activity (uniform for the day)

June 4 Depart Scout Hut at 9 AM. Arrive at the Scout hut at 8:30 AM. Travel to Red Roof Inn in Kissimmee, FL (uniform: Gray Troop t-shirt with small lettering, choice of shorts)

June 5 Depart Kissimmee at 6 AM and arrive at Sea Base - Brinton Center at 2 PM

Orientation, swim test, snorkel lessons, discuss itinerary (uniform: Red Troop t-shirt and then Class A shirt and pants, socks, belt)

June 6 Brinton Center: fishing or snorkeling or kayaking (Troop Sea Base t-shirt (to be given out upon departure)

June 7 Brinton Center: fishing or snorkeling or kayaking, evening in Key West (Troop Gray t-shirt with large lettering plus a non-scouting or Hawaiian shirt for Key West)

June 8 Depart Brinton Center and kayak to Big Munson Island (your choice, t-shirt or long sleeve shirt)

June 9 Big Munson Island: fishing/snorkeling (your choice, t-shirt)

June 10 Big Munson Island: fishing/snorkeling (your choice, t-shirt)

June 11 Depart Big Munson Island and kayak to Brinton Center: closing ceremony, luau (your choice t-shirt, Class A, and Hawaiian shirt (optional))

June 12 Depart Brinton Center and arrive at Red Roof Inn in Kissimmee, FL (Red Troop T-shirt)

June 13 Depart Kissimmee and arrive in Columbia at 6 PM (Troop Sea Base t-shirt)

Notes:

We will be on Big Munson Island from June 8 to June 11. Plan on packing light for this portion of the trip. All of your personal gear that will go to the island must fit inside a dry-bag. The remainder of your gear can stay in our locker at the Brinton Center or in the van. For example, you might bring six shirts but only take three to Big Munson Island. Your Class-A uniform will not go to the island. It has been strongly suggested to bring a light-weight long-sleeve shirt for the evenings on the island to ward off gnats or to use for protection from the sun. We will have a Troop 91 Sea Base T-shirt that will be provided to you on our day of departure.

Double Check your list.

Laundry facilities are available at the Brinton Center. Bring some quarters.
