Ambac Assurance Corporation is wholly owned by Ambac Financial Group, Inc., a public corporation whose stock trades on the NASDAQ. BlackRock, Inc. (NYSE:BLK), collectively through different BlackRock entities and funds managed by BlackRock, owns 10% or more of the stock of Ambac Financial Group, Inc. The Vanguard Group, collectively through different Vanguard entities and funds managed by Vanguard, also owns 10% or more of the stock of Ambac Financial Group, Inc.
