Employee Price Program - The ABC's of Savings

The following details the Employee Price Program. Under an agreement established with ABC Warehouse, Inc. (referred to as ABC), DTE Energy employees and retirees can shop at any ABC location to take advantage of the benefits offered through this program.

How to Make Your Purchase

Go to any ABC Warehouse location, excluding Utica or Rochester locations, these two stores are not affiliated with ABC Warehouse, Inc.

1. Ask to see the Store Manager. If the Store Manager is unavailable, ask for the Assistant Manager. (It is very important that you speak with a manager.) Identify yourself as a DTE Energy employee and show your picture ID. The store manager will provide you with the DTE Energy employee price for the item.

2. Find out your DTE Energy employee price. The Store Manager will look up the employee price from ABC's special price list to determine your discounted price. If the item you selected is part of a special sale, you'll be able to get the lowest price offered. If needed, the Store Manager will answer any questions you may have, or help you with your selection.

3. Complete your purchase. Your order now flows through the ABC system like any other purchase.

Other Special Benefits

One Low Price for Delivery

The charge for delivery of any item, including major appliances, is only $19 per item within ABC's delivery area.

Hook up, Haul Away, and Installation

Appliance hook-ups, haul away, and installations are available through ABC at standard ABC store prices. Ask about these services when you make your purchase.

Extended Warranty

ABC has a unique extended warranty program which extends the manufacturer's warranty to 2, 3 or 5 years. If the extended warranty policy is not used during the stated warranty period, a percentage of the policy price (50% for the 5-year extension), is returned as a credit toward any store purchase within 90 days of when the extended warranty expired. Ask the Store Manager for details.

ABC Financing

ABC's standard terms are 90 days same as cash. At the time of purchase, you may take advantage of any available ABC financing programs, except for the ABC-sponsored 0% long-term financing. Payroll deduction is no longer available to employees.

Detroit Edison Credit Union members can purchase discounted tickets from the Credit Union and avoid the hassle of long lines and hefty ticket prices.
