PNEUMA VS PSUCHE

Pneuma vs. Psuche

Part 1

I. Gospel of the Kingdom

A. Many kinds of “Gospels”(i.e, Gospel of Salvation, Gospel of the Kingdom, Gospel of Healing)

B. Shall be preached to all nations before the end (Matthew 24:14, And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the

world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.)

C. Gospel of Salvation precursor to Gospel of the Kingdom.

D. All part of the “Good News” picture.

E. Gospel of the Kingdom is the “Work of Christ.”

II. Must Learn

A. Walk in the “Pneuma”, not the "Psuche"

B. How to discern differences.

1. If what you are hearing/experiencing comes from the pneuma or psuche realm.

2. You need to know if those around you are working through the psuche realm. They will target your weaknesses.

3. Makes sure that what is being taught you lines up with the Word of God.

4. Does it satisfy pride or create self-confidence.

5. Does it attempt to ADD to the Work of Christ.

III. Soul Versus Spirit

A. Matthew 11:28-29, "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you,

and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls."

1 Soul must rest.

2. Walk in humility.

3. Christ is at the center, it is not “of” us.

B. Pneuma moves forward with power when soul is at rest.

C. Force of “self”

1. Many using it against enemy.

2. Like exercise, is a striving.

3. Outward performance – many us a gauge.

4. Emotionally based.

5. Dead work.

6. Soul ties – used to manipulate to get you out of rest.

D. Pneuma Walker

1. Our confidence is “In Christ.”

2. All things are done “in Him, of Him, by Him and for Him.”

3. Our walk “In Christ” is where people get delivered.

4. Lively hope. 1 Peter 1:3, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy

hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,”

5. We have new life BY resurrection of Christ.

6. Ask for WISDOM. James 1:5, If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth

not; and it shall be given him.”

7. Our Heavenly Father wants us to have Light/Knowledge of Him.

8. 2 Corinthians 10:4-5, "For the weapons of our warfare [are] not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of

strong holds;Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing

into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;"

9. "Pneuma" is a blast of air as in pneumatic and "Psuche" is a breath or puff of air.

Part 2

I. Must nurture and feed your faith (trust),

starve your doubts

A. Philemon 1:6, “That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is

in you in Christ Jesus.”

II. It’s the good fight of faith.

A. Repentance from dead works and faith toward God.  Revelation 2:25-26, “But that which ye have already hold fast till I

come. and he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations.”

III. HIS works in your life.

A. Hebrews 6:1, “Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again

the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God.”

B. Repent from YOUR work.

C. God hates “self” life

IV. The “just” shall live by this faith.

A. Habakkuk 2:2-4, “And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that

readeth it.

For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because

it will surely come, it will not tarry. Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by

his faith."

B. Roman 1:17, “For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by

faith.”

C. Faith (trust) in God.

D. Acknowledge the truth.

E. Get into “Christ life.”

V. Opposing Ourselves.

A. 2 Timothy 2:25-26, “In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to

the acknowledging of the truth; And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by

him at his will.”

B. Programmed to fail. Sin means "missing the mark." Romans 6:11, "Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto

sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

C.  The truth shall make you “free", acknowledge the truth.

D. Recovery.

E. Deliverance.  "I am delivered, in Christ the great I AM."

F. Freedom. John 8:36, “If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.”

VI. Awareness.

A. Those around us

B. Soul/self life/soul ties.  Referring to relationships and soul ties.

Ephesians 5:21-25, "Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God. Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands,

as unto the Lord.

For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. Husbands, love your

wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it."

Ephesians 6:1-3, "Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.

Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;) That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest

live long on the earth."

Ephesians 6:5-9, "Servants (employees), be obedient to them that are your masters (employer) according to the flesh, with

fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ; Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of

Christ, doing the will of God from the heart; With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men: Knowing that

whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free. And, ye masters

(employers), do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master (God) also is in heaven; neither

is there respect of persons with him."

C.  The enemies tactics.

VII. Our strategy.

A. The truth.

B. Who we are "IN CHRIST".

C. Recognizing (“reckoning”) Romans 6:11, “Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God

through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

D. Rest.

Part 3

I. We have “Victory,” IN CHRIST.

1 Corinthians 15:57, “But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

A. Hope in the Lord.

B. In Psalms, David talks to his “soul” man. Encourages himself. Psalms 42:5, “Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art

thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance.”

C. Hold fast (tightly) to our profession/confession. Hebrews 10:23, “Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without

wavering; (for he is faithful that promised).”

II. Pneuma (Spirit) more powerful than Psuche (soul).

A. Walking in pneuma, walking in the Spirit.

B. Catch a vision from God, it brings hope. "I am visionary, in Jesus Christ."

C. Stay focused on Christ, that's where the vision is. Proverbs 29:18, "Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he

that keepeth the law, happy is he."  Thank you God for your vision.  Habakkuk 2:2, "And the LORD answered me, and said, Write

the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it."

D. Keep your eyes on Christ.

III. Psuche Power - Soulish Man

A. Man’s attempt to ascend – in and of himself.

B. Works realm.

C. Legalistic.  Letter of the Law mentality.

D. Bondage – the stronghold is in the “soul” man.

E. 2 Corinthians 10:5, “Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God,

and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.”

IV. Jesus.

A. No corruptible seed in Christ.  Jesus was in the "likeness of sinful flesh".  Romans 8:3, "For what the law could not do,

in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in

the flesh:"

B. Romans, the entire 8th Chapter.

C. 1 Peter 1:23, “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and

abideth for ever.”

D. 2 Corinthians 10:12, “For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend

themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.”

Part 4

I. Psuche World – Natural Man

Psychic world has crept into the Church. Jesus warned us of these things.

The Law of Moses (Ten Commandments along with all the rules in Deuteronomy) are tied into the soul, political power is a

soulish thing, Leaven of Herod has a Roman root. The feet of the image in the Book of Daniel .

There is a spiritual Babylon.

Ephesians 6:12, We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the

darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

God said He would pour out His Pneuma (Spirit)

The Father sees you complete, in Christ (Colossians 2:10). He empowers you to be all you can be.

New Age religions have bled over into the church. Many are looking to see Jesus and see through the glass darkly.

Surrender completely and become baptized in Christ. The Spiriti of God baptizes you into Jesus Christ when you surrender.

 II. Professions of Faith

Water baptism, old things passed away.  Your baptized in Christ.

Baptism in water is an outward profession of faith that the old man is dead and you are a new person (a new creation).

Speak to one another the Word. That is the labor of active faith.

Baptism and Holy Communion are Sacraments. The Communion Supper is done in remembrance of Him and the work He has done. In

His blood we are made new creations.

Life in Christ is in His blood. It reverses the curse.

Hebrew 9:22, "And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission."

The enemy works through our relationships (husbands, wives, children, relatives, employers, employees, etc.

Faith is in God, faith in Jesus Christ and not in our works (our self works effort).

II Corinthians 10:12 Comparing oneself with others. God says to come out of that. For we dare not make ourselves of the

number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves; but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing

themselves among themselves, are not wise.

Gives a false sense of confidence. We have liberty in Christ.

II Corinithians 11:1-3, Would to God ye could bear with me. For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have

espoused you to one husband (Jesus) that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. But I fear, lest by any means, as

the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

Paul wants us to be hooked up to Christ to become a new creature. The old you is crucified.

II Peter 1:4, Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises; that by these ye might be partakers of the

divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Become partakers of the divine nature.

Part 5

I. Psuche man

A. Natural, soulish man cannot understand. 1 Corinthians 2:14, “But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of

God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”

B. “Soulical” realm – wilderness walking. The people wandered in the desert for 40 years because they doubted.

1. Fallen Man program.

2. Bloodline of our forefathers.

II. Solution

A. We must learn who we are IN CHRIST.

B. We must learn what’s already been done for us IN CHRIST.

C. We are to agree that we are crucified, descended, resurrected and ascended IN CHRIST.

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul

and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."

D. Recognize that it IS so.  Romans 6:11, “Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God

through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

E. Enter “rest” in and through the work of Christ.  Hebrews 4:11-12, “Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest

any man fall after the same example of unbelief. For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged

sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the

thoughts and intents of the heart.”

F. Romans 6:2-8, “God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Know ye not, that so many of us as

were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that

like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if

we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: Knowing

this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve

sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin. Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him.”

G. Allow the Word of God to rightly divide the spirit, soul and body.

H.  Hebrews 4:12, “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the

dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the

heart.”

I. Decide to abide – say daily, "I can't do it, I decide to abide."

J. Daily surrender, acknowledgement of the truth.

K. Professions of faith, Examples “I am dead to doubt and resurrected to totally trusting the Lord.” “I am dead to sickness

and resurrected to walking in complete health.” “I am dead to confusion, I am resurrected to a clear mind.”

L. Hold fast to your professions/confessions. Hebrews 4:14, “Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into

the heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.”

III. How do we break soul ties?

We wrestle not against flesh and blood.

A. 2 Corinthians 10:5, “Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and

bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.”

B. Ephesians 6:12, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers

of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”

C. The enemy works through iniquitous bloodline. The things we bring with us from our forefathers. Doctors are now saying that

such things as alcoholism, allergies, overweight, certain diseases, etc., are things we bring with us in our genes. If this

so, we need to be aware of them and declare, affirm, that it is not so in our lives….that we are regenerated (regened – we are

new creature) IN CHRIST and those things cannot be so in our lives. Call yourself dead to it/them. Declare what Christ has

done for you and stand on the Word in these areas. If your faith/trust level has grown, begin to declare what Christ has done

for you – ALREADY.

D. Read all of Galatians, Chapter 3. We are heirs to the promises made by God to faithful Abraham. We are no longer under the

curse.

E. God wants us to be broken (surrendered) and set free from the curse. Those things sown in through our forefathers,

environment, etc.

F. Things have been sown into our soul – this is why we have “the battle” dilemna (like Paul in Chapter 7 of Romans) – we want

to, but we do not, etc.

G. We need to renew our minds through the Word and the finished work of Christ.

H. Philippians 2:5, “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.” We can have the “mind” of Christ, to discern

that which is good for us and to rightly divide what is happeniing.

I. Colossians 3:10, “And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him.”

J. We have to LET ourselves have what we have IN CHRIST, let ourselves AGREE with it. KNOWING that our old man is crucified in

Christ.

K. Romans 6:6-7, “Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that

henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin.”

L. Now it is time for you to confirm/affirm it to yourself. AFFIRM – “I Can”, “I Will”, “I Shall”, IN CHRIST. You can’t do it

yourself, but IN HIM you can.

M. Allow the WORD to rightly divide your spirit, soul and body. Hebrews 4:12, “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and

sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and

is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

N. The natural/carnal man does not receive the things of God, so we end up spinning our wheels, living in the soul realm,

having a hard time recovering from all that keeps happening to you – over and over again. You end up saying, “Didn’t I go

through this once before?” In Christ, you HAVE been set free, you HAVE been delivered.

O. Colossians 1:12-13, “Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the

saints in light: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son.”

P. Engage the knowledge that you’ve been given through the Keys of David series and loose and bind those things in your life

that hinder you by affirming constantly that which has ALREADY been done for you through the work of Christ.. See that the

Word can rightly divide the spirit, soul and body which allows you to “Rest” in the finished work of Christ.

Part 6

I. Armour of God

Ephesians 6:11-19, “Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we

wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this

world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to

withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having

on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; And take the helmet of

salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the

Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; And for me, that utterance may be given

unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel.”

A. Symbols of a doctrine;  truth, righteousness, gospel of peace, faith, salvation, Spirit.

1. Each piece represents the Doctrine of Christ.

2. Our understanding is not limited to physical.

II. Knowledge is key. Hosea 4:6, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…”

A. Imperative that you know who you are IN CHRIST.

B. Destruction pursues those who do not seek nor learn of Christ.

C. We are instructed to learn of HIM. Matthew 11:29-30, “Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in

heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

D. Matthew 7:7, “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.”

E. We are instructed to STAND. Galatians 5:1, “Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be

not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.” and James 1:6, “But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that

wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.”

F. It is OUR responsibility. 2 Timothy 2:26, “And that they (us) may recover themselves (ourselves) out of the snare of the

devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.” Why? Because we do not know where we stand and who we are, IN CHRIST.

Part 7

I. Building our Faith/Trust.

A. It is important that we don’t attempt to get everyone into our viewpoint. We can really turn them off to Jesus.

B. Be aware of “self” or “false” confidence.

C. Build with Living Word

D. Hebrews 4:12, “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the

dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the

heart.”

III. How to tell if you are in the “natural” or “soulish” realm.

A. An important question to ask yourself – Are you trying to do anything yourself that Jesus came to do and already did?

B. An example – Are you trying to make yourself a better person….no more angry outbursts, no more little white lies, no more

excuses, I’m going to quit this, or I’m going to turn my life around.

C. “Soulish” realm cannot accomplish this task.  The soul took the brunt of the lie or the seed of the serpent, the iniquitous

seed.  You can't plug all the holes in the dike.

D. The soul realm is where “strongholds” exist.

E. Everyone has genetic programming that needs evolution, based on the work of Christ

IV. Walk in the Pneuma/Spirit.

A. 2 Peter 1:4, “Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the

divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.”

B. Will not walk in the flesh.

C. Soul will remain in rest.

D. Strongholds taken

E. Renewal manifests – from the INSIDE OUT not from the outside in.

Part 8

I. The Armour of Light

Put on the Armour of Light. Romans 13:12, “The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of

darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.”

A. How do you displace darkness?

B. Turning the Light on in our lives. Displace the darkness.

C. Walking in Light.  When you share the 'Good News' the Holy Spirit will turn on the light.

1. John 8:12, “Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in

darkness, but shall have the light of life.”

2. Ephesians 5:8, “For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:”

3. I John 1:5-7, “This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is

no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we

walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth

us from all sin.”

4. Philippians 2:5, “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.”

II. Soul Man

A. Reevaluate according to the work of Christ.  2 Peter 1:4, Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises:

that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust."

B. Lost the light because of sin.

C. Enemy sees our genetic weaknesses

D. Tries to get us too busy, uninterested in our spiritual walk, off guard.

E. Confrontation in our soul.  Ephesians 6:12, "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities,

against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."

F. Remedy

1. Fight the good fight of faith/trust. 1 Tim 6:12, “Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou

art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.”

2. 2 Corinthians 10:3-5, “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are

not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that

exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.”

3. Ephesians 6:11, “Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” That armour

is Jesus Christ and the attributes of the armour are all that He represents.”

III. Relationships

A. Operate in the soulish realm.

1. Galatians 3:13, “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is

every one that hangeth on a tree.”

B. Soul ties.

1. Galatians 5:1, “Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the

yoke of bondage.”

C. Remedy for relations – work of Christ. Do not go to prayer with someone without first addressing problems that arise in

relationships.

1. Fight to keep the faith. Ephesians 6:14-17, “Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the

breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of

faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword

of the Spirit, which is the word of God:”

2. 1 Corinthians 2:5, “That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.”

3. Hebrews 10:23, “Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)”

4. Keep wholeness and fullness.

5. Cover, in prayer, those who you are connected to.

6.  People you are connected with and "things" come against you to get you out of rest.

7.  Take on the whole armour of god and get cloaked in Christ.  take a spiritual stand and do not attack to further the

situaion.  To "not" attack IS your attack.  Stand therefore, as the scripture says.

8.  Ephesians 6:1-19 talks about all relationships (children, spouses, employees and employers).

D. Fulfillment found only in Christ.

E. Rest is God’s best. Rest: root word for "wrestle" is "rest". Wrestling is unrest.

1. Hebrews 4:1, “Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to

come short of it.”

2. Hebrews 4:9-11, “There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath

ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the

same example of unbelief.”

3. Part of the armor is the girdle (Girt) of truth.  Truth will make you stand up straight, the truth of who you are, your

worthiness in Him, being a new creature in Christ, old things are past away and all things become new, of the enemy being

defeated ( 1 John 3:8 and Heb. 2:14).  Both he and his works are destroyed in Christ.  Stop warring with the enemy, you are

transformed in Christ (2 Cor. 5:17)

Part 9

I. Abide in Christ and you shall bear much fruit

John 15:5, "I am the vine, ye [are] the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for

without me ye can do nothing.”

I Am for the day -- I am Loved.

A. You are loved with the same love the Father has for the Son.

B. There is nothing that can separate me from the love of God, Romans 8:37-39, "Nay, in all these things we are more than

conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor

powers, nor things present, nor things to come,Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us

from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

C. John 17:22-23, “And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them,

and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them,

as thou hast loved me.”

D. The entire Chapter 17 of John tells us how much Christ loved us, and how He is praying for us. How we are ONE, in Christ.

E. Receive and believe what Christ has done for you in all four phases of the work of Christ. Every believer has the anointing

in their spirit man and the soul man is often blocking that anointing from flowing out of us to others.

F. Walk in the anointing of Christ. Luke 4:18, “ The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the

gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight

to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised.”

II. Jesus has Living Water to give to us.

A. John 7:38, “He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water”

B. We shall not thirst – spiritually – if we decide to abide.

C. If you get back in the ring with the enemy, you are forfeiting the opportunity to stay in a position of victory, in

Christ.  If you give a place to the enemy, he can operate but technically he is nullified, he's spoiled.  He has no power

unless you give it to him.  We have to learn to STAND.

D. John 4:13-14, “Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever

drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of

water springing up into everlasting life.”

E. Jesus Christ is referred to throughout the Bible, directly, indirectly, giving us total and complete deliverance in His

work.

F.  May God open our eyes.  That we would see and understand what Jesus did for us.  You are a reciever and a dispenser for

God.  Let the Holy Spririt flow through you today.  The Spirit of God will lift you up and strengthen you. Philippians 1:19,

"For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ,"

G. Paul prays that  your eyes would be opened in Ephesians 1:18-10, "The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye

may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

And what [is] the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,

Allow god to open your eyes."

II. Psalm 91: 1-16

"He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

I will say of the LORD, [He is] my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, [and] from the noisome pestilence.

He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth [shall be thy] shield and buckler.

Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; [nor] for the arrow [that] flieth by day;

[Nor] for the pestilence [that] walketh in darkness; [nor] for the destruction [that] wasteth at noonday.

A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; [but] it shall not come nigh thee.

Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.

Because thou hast made the LORD, [which is] my refuge, [even] the most High, thy habitation;

There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

They shall bear thee up in [their] hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.

Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.

He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I [will be] with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.

With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation."

A. Dwell in the “Secret Place, ” Heavenly Places.

1. Ephesians 2:6, “And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.”

B. Don’t fight the enemy, he has been defeated.

Part 10

I. Jesus restored the image of God for us.

I AM - I am made in God's image Genesis 1:27, "So God created man in his [own] image, in the image of God created he him; male

and female created he them."

A. The Lord’s Prayer – Matthew 6:6-13. “But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door,

pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. But when ye pray, use

not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not ye therefore

like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him. After this manner therefore pray ye:

Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us

this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us

from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.”

B. Jesus spoke of a loving God, a giving God, one that restores, a father that cares.

C. Believe it, receive it.

D. God is beautiful, intelligent and creative and He made you in His image.

II. Maintain your posture daily.

A. Titus 3:8, “This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed

in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.”

B. Philemon 1:6, “That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is

in you in Christ Jesus.”

C. Luke 9:23, “And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and

follow me.” Die daily to SELF.

D. Acknowledge what Christ has already done.  We need a DAILY confession/profession of faith, not a one-time, forget about it

and go on your way.  The daily confession/profession of faith is imperative.  It is found in all 66 books of the Bible.

"Don't let it depart of your eyes.." affirm constantly.

III. Renew your conscious mind, centered in you soul.

A. Romans 12:2, “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove

what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

B. Renew your mind in the Word.

C. Titus 3:5-7, “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of

regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; That being

justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.”

D. Renew your mind to His Work (the four phases of the work of Christ) What was done for you when He was crucified, died,

resurrected and ascended.

E. Soulish/Natural man.  2 Corinthians 10:4-5, "(For the weapons of our warfare [are] not carnal, but mighty through God to

the pulling down of strong holds;)

Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity

every thought to the obedience of Christ;"

So, these things are in our imaginations and in our thought life.  We keep trying to deal with these things and not getting

any results, because we are in our soul-man, trying to do that which has already been done, trying to crucify ourselves.  Just

as you get control of one thing, another pops up.  It's called - dead works - your will power is not strong enough.

1 Corinthians 2:14, “But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him:

neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”

F. Dead works – “looking” good

1. Hebrews 6:1, “Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again

the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God.”

2. Hebrews 9:14, “How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God,

purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?”

3. Colossians 2:23, “Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not

in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.”

4.(Colossians 2:33) When it satisfies the flesh it's a dead work, its not Christ life.  You can't say "look what I have done."

G. Only remedy – the work of Christ.

1. John 14:6, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” Praise

God!!! Thank you Jesus!!!!

Part 11

Natural/Soulish Man

I. Believers who do not know who they are and

what’s been done are “soulish.”

A. What is a “soul centered” believer? They are rooted in “self.”

B. “Self” centered Christians block the ability for the spirit man to move forward with Pneuma/POWER.

C. The soul man gets in the way – cannot receive what God has for them.

D. 1 Corinthians 2:14, “But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him:

neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”

E. Fallen man sees through the glass darkly. 1 Corinthians 13:12, “For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to

face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.”

IV. The Rest

A. Must learn to get the “soul man” to rest in the Work of Christ.

B. Knowledge gained may puff up.

C. Constant work to keep resting – that is our labor.

D. Hebrews 4:11, “Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.”

E. Repositioning according to the work of Christ.

F. Repentance and submission.

G. 2 Timothy 2:25-26, “In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to

the acknowledging of the truth; And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by

him at his will.”

H. Recognize it so – dead to sin.

I. Romans 6:11, “Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our

Lord.”

V. Incorruptible seed Regenerated

A. Titus 3:5-6, “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of

regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour.”

B. Not by works, by the mercy of God.

C. Justified by the grace of God

D. Titus 3:7, “That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.” And Romans

3:24-25, “Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a

propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the

forbearance of God.”

E. Work on your “faith” or “trust.”

1. Study. 2 Timothy 2:15, “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing

the word of truth.”

2. Hearing the Word of God. Romans 10:17, “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

3. Speak it. Psalms 42:5, “Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall

yet praise him for the help of his countenance.” David spoke to himself – to his soul. Speak it – out loud. Confess/Affirm out

loud what God has already said about you.

4. Affirm constantly. Titus 3:8, “This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they

which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.”

Part 12

I. Law of sin and death.

A. Romans 8:2, “For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.”

B. Natural Man.

1. 1 Corinthians 2:14, “But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him:

neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”

2. Romans 8:7-8, “Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can

be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.”

C. Programming in the bloodline – Adam.

2. Ephesians 2:8-9, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works,

lest any man should boast.”

3. Romans 4:14-16, “For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect:

Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression (the law holds up the mirror). Therefore it is

of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure …”

III. Walking in the Spirit

A. It is a result of the work of Christ.

B. Recognize yourself IN CHRIST

1. Romans 6:11, “Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our

Lord.”

C. Renewing your mind.

1. Romans 12:2, “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove

Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.”

3. Relying on HIS FINISHED WORK

IV. Knowledge

A. Crossing the line.

B. Key to renewing your mind.

C. Key to relying on this work.

2. Reminding ourselves who we are IN HIM.

VI. Repent from dead works. Hebrews 6:1

your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

D. It has all been accomplished. “It is finished, in Christ.”

E. Find the sure foundation.

1. Isaiah 28:16, “Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation, a stone, a tried stone, a

precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.”

2. Abide, IN CHRIST.

3. John 15:4-12, “Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more

can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth

forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered;

and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned (used up, burned out and wasted). If ye abide in me, and

my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you (what you ask for will change as you see wha0t

His will for your life is and what is REALLY important). Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye

be my disciples. As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. If ye keep my commandments, ye

shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. These things have I spoken unto

you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. This is my commandment, That ye love one another (He is

talking to his disciples – love your fellow Christians – we should all be united IN HIM), as I have loved you.”
