OUR STORY

Pouring candles for over 40 years

Director Christopher Phillips began the company as a small venture in 1972 selling handmade candles at the renowned St Kilda Esplanade Market under the name `The Gumleaf Candle Company', later to be known as `Gumleaf Aromatics'.

Since these humble beginnings, Buckley and Phillips Aromatics has grown over the years and has developed a wide range of aromatic products, with more family members and field professionals on board with the same passion for fine fragrances and aromatherapy. Our head office, based in Victoria's Yarra Valley, has the capability for large-scale production, manufacturing products for worldwide distribution.

At Buckley & Phillips Aromatics, we pride ourselves on being a 100% Australian Owned and Founded Company that does not outsource production overseas. We focus solely on sourcing Australian ingredients, fragrances, labels and packaging wherever possible. As we are the manufacturer of our own products, we have specialised knowledge and experience that ensures everything we make performs to an exceptional standard.
