Brochure - Rocky Mountain Christian

Rocky Mountain is a church that’ll help you discover God’s solutions for life’s hurts, hang-ups and habits.

Come get a lift UP rather than a let down this Sunday. God loves you and has a purpose for your life!

A church for those who’ve given up on traditional church

PEOPLE JUST LIKE YOU MAY HAVE GIVEN UP ON TRADITIONAL CHURCHES, BUT STILL BELIEVE IN GOD. AT THE ROCKY MOUNTAIN CHURCH, WE HAVE LISTENED TO WHAT PEOPLE ARE TELLING US AS THE REASONS WHY THEY DON’T COME TO CHURCH REGULARLY.

People really do want to know who God is and what his will is for their lives. “Religion” sometimes gets in the way of building a relationship with God. After all, it was the religious community that killed Jesus. He wasn’t religious enough for them.

God is seeking for true worshippers - people just like you who want to love God with all their heart, soul, strength and mind and who want to love and be loved.

We want to offer Jesus’ invitation to you.

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." (Matthew 11:28-30).

What’s our worship like?

At rocky mountain, we believe that worship must be in spirit and in truth like Jesus taught!

WE BELIEVE THAT WORSHIP MUST BE RELEVANT TO WHERE PEOPLE ARE AT IN THEIR LIVES. SO, WHEN YOU COME TO OUR WORSHIP SERVICE, YOU’LL FEEL THE PRESENCE OF REAL, DOWN-TO-EARTH, GENUINE PEOPLE WHO HAVE COME TO HONOR GOD AND CARE FOR ONE ANOTHER.

You’ll be greeted at the door by friendly, smiling faces, and given a bulletin with our order of worship printed on it so you’ll never feel like you’re lost or out of place.

We sing songs as a congregation; have special prayers for the needs of our country and for people. We also celebrate the Lord’s Supper every Sunday in remembrance of Jesus’ death and resurrection.

There’ll be a sermon, usually lasting about 30 minutes that’s inspiring, practical, challenging, relevant and understandable for everyone. The young kids even have their own Bible time in a class during the sermon, so parents can listen, and so the kids can learn something too. It’s Great!

We believe that worship should be an encounter with God in the presence of people who really love one another.

Home Bible Study Groups

Come see for yourself that the Rocky Mountain Church of Christ is truly the “Friendliest Church In The World!

Our small groups are informal Bible discussions that meet weekly in homes around the Helena area. People gather in a friendly, non-threatening atmosphere to learn how to apply the teachings of Jesus practically to their daily life. People can ask questions and discuss topics that interest them. Even people who have never opened a Bible before feel right at home in this comfortable environment.

Close friendships are built in our small groups as well. You’ll meet people just like you who are struggling with some of the same issues that you deal with in your life. Learn how to find practical, life-changing solutions that will help you find purpose and more meaning in your life.

• Through my small group, I really feel connected and part of our church. People in our small group really do become a close family… we love each other and really care!” (Adeline Morrow)
