? Being honest is a generally a good thing but there are times when it is not. Here are some times when it can be better not to speak honestly: o When there is no good reason why you need to upset someone's feelings o When there is no good reason why you need to tell an adult about small mistakes or rule breaking

? It is usually best to be honest. But, to be friendly and sociable with people, it can sometimes be better when we are not too honest.
