In this activity you will act as an engineer and provide an explanation and evaluation of a product that you have hypothetically designed. Also, people used to clean drains in the past using chemicals that would wash down the drain and into bodies of water that would then carry the chemical to places that would hurt wildlife and animals. From the methods that were used before this invention was innovated, this new method of unclogging drains is simple, effective, and quick. Conclusion Closing statement: Engineers improve lifestyles by creating and renovating ideas to make it innovative. About the Author (sixth paragraph): My discipline of engineering is structural engineering. Structural engineering is about forming the base of an architectural structure and keeping in mind the occupants’ safety, comfort, and attainability. This discipline helped me create my design and solve my problem because I knew that the design I was supposed to develop was to be accessible to be people, easy to work with, and simple to use. My branch of engineering had the same concept to keep in mind as designing an innovation so it was fairly simple to realize what people like and want.
