I feel that sometimes there may have been too many ac tivities planned for eac h session. It is

them ourselves did not always feel valuable.

At times the relevant readings seemed to be assigned after the c lass they were presented in. At first 12/12/2013 4:36 PM

I thought this was a tec hnique that was being employed on purpose and it may even have worked

at times but I would have preferred to have read the relevant c hapters prior to the c lass when it was

being c overed.

bac kground but it would be helpful to learn how to determine what topic ideas/c ontent are good for

task to c reate a syllabus for a c ourse, and muc h more diffic ult (and important for student learning

and engagement) than I had assumed. I liked that this assignment was broken down into smaller

sec tions (e.g., learning outc omes) and that we c reated sc affolded assignments and a

c orresponding syllabus with Erin in c lass. This assignment has huge prac tic al value, both for

teac hing a c ourse and applying for jobs.
