The muscular system works to move the blood through the heart which is a big muscle that pumps blood all throughout the body. The respiratory system helps control essential gas exchange which means that it tells the body when it need more or less of oxygen and carbon dioxide. So if the respiratory system is not taking in oxygen, it tells the circulatory system that the blood it previously sent out need to return to the heart to get more. What are Varicose Veins?Varicose Veins occur when your veins become enlarged, dilated, and overfilled with blood. Varicose veins are often painful and have a bluish-purple or red color. Often, varicose veins appear swollen and raised. ArteriesArtery wall consists of three layersTunica Adventitia – Strong outer covering Tunica Intima – inner layer composed of elastic membrane lining and smooth endothelium that is covered by elastic tissues.Carry oxygenated blood away from heart with the main artery being the aorta.No valves because the heart provides the pressure to get the blood moving throughout the body.Thicker wall because of higher blood pressure VeinsCarry deoxygenated blood back to heart to be reoxygenated.Contains valves to keep deoxygenated blood flowing back to the heart going the right way.
