Overview

The students will read articles about criminals that were caught by their own stupid mistakes. The students will prepare a short summary of the crime and make suggestions how the criminal could have avoided the mistake.

Students can access all the Internet sites for the Interactive Activities by clicking on Students' Area in the ECB On-line homepage, then click on:

• Interactive Activity links - The links to the Internet sites are listed under the names of the activities.

• Name the city where the crime took place?

• Name place where the crime took place? (bank, store, house…)

• How many people committed the crime?

• What did they try to do?

• How were they caught?

• Why didn't they succeed?

• Did the criminal go to jail? If yes, for how long? If no, what is the reward for his/her capture?
