Students signed up for the PSATs on Wednesday, October 16th report directly to their testing room by 8:15 on that day. We will be on an Activity Schedule and testing begins during Activity Period. Testing will take place in 147, 148, 149, 209, 211, and 212. Rosters are posted outside the School Counseling Office. Teachers have also been given a copy of the rosters so they can tell you where you should report. Students are responsible to bring with them 2 sharpened #2 pencils and a calculator.

There is information in the School Counseling Office for two SAT Prep courses. One is through Wilkes University and it is running on Saturdays & Sundays at the end of October. Students may pick up a registration form in the SC Office. The other is through PSU Wilkes-Barre. They offer online and inperson options. Students can pick up an information sheet regarding the courses in the SC Office as well.

ASVAB TESTING ? (Note date change)

If you are in the 10th, 11th, or 12th grade and need some help making career decisions, then think about taking the ASVAB.

The ASVAB Career Exploration Program can help you take steps toward finding a career that is right for you. You can benefit from the program whether you plan to pursue further education after high school or enter the workforce right away.

The program is designed to help you: Learn more about yourself and the world of work Explore occupations in line with your interests and skills Develop an effective strategy to realize your career goals

The ASVAB will be given on Wednesday, October 30th. Sign up today in the School Counseling Office. There is no cost to take the ASVAB. Deadline is October 25th to sign up.
