Summary of Changes

1. DOLWIN-406: Comment Code 93 placed on record once

When Comment Code 93 is to be placed on a record because of a successor or predecessor link, the system would inadvertently add the comment code several times if there were multiple links. The comment codes could end up looking like:

With this release the system has been corrected so that even with multiple links, the comment code will only appear once.

2. DOLWIN-409: A status log purge that runs past midnight was resetting the hours to be run

The status log purge option is a very useful tool for removing very old data in the transaction/status log to help keep the database small. It is recommended that users purge their status log once a month and let the job run for at least 8 hours overnight or on the weekends. The Status Log purge can be found here:

The purge will run for a predetermined number of hours based on the settings in report Parameter 23:

There was a defect in this purge routine if the run time went past midnight. The calculation of the time that had run was being reset when the time of day went to “00:00” (i.e. midnight). This would cause the purge routine to run longer than the hours set in the report parameter.

With this release, the system will now check the date and time (not just the time) and will end the purge when the number of hours elapsed reaches the number of hours in the report parameter.

3. DOLWIN-424: Code not looking at the year when checking for employment and wage data and adding multiple days to EOL date

With the change for DOLWIN-288, one day was added to the EOL date if the EOL date was the first day of a quarter and the quarterly record for that quarter had no wage or employment data associated with it. With that change, a defect was introduced if more than that quarter was unlocked for multiple years. For example, if the EOL date was 1/1/2017 and multiple first quarters were unlocked (i.e. 2017/1, 2016/1, 2015/1) and 2016/1 and 2015/1 quarterly records had employment and/or wage data, the code was adding one day to the EOL date for every one of those quarters that had employment or wage data even though the 2017/1 quarterly record did not have any data associated with it. In this example, the EOL date was incorrectly changed to 1/3/2017.

With this release, the system will now ensure that only the quarter AND the year being edited are checked against the quarter AND the year of the EOL. Even if multiple quarters are open that match the quarter of the EOL date, only one day will be added to the EOL date if the quarter AND year being edited match AND there is employment or wage data for that quarter.

4. DOLWIN-442: (SPEC is included) – Update the CMI code via the CARS Response Load tool (not the ARS Web Load)

5. DOLWIN-443: (SPEC is included) – Do not update the CMI code via the ARS Web Load tool

6. DOLWIN-436:  There are two small issues being addressed with this ticket:

a. When choosing any of the Excel options, if there is a large amount of data to be exported to Excel, it takes time to load the spreadsheet and clicking a cell in the spreadsheet prematurely can cause Excel errors to display on the screen that the user will have to click through (many times) before they will go away.  There will now be a message to make users aware that it could take a few minutes to load all the Excel data:

[pic]

There are 7 places where Excel can be called and this message will display:

1. Screens -> Micro tab -> Employment Graph

2. Screens -> Micro tab -> Wages Graph

3. Screens -> Micro Error tab -> Export to Excel

4. Screens -> Mac/CTY tab -> Inquiry button -> Trend Graph

5. Screens -> Mac/CTY tab -> Inquiry button -> Yearly Graph

6. Screens -> Mac/MSA tab -> Inquiry button -> Trend Graph

7. Screens -> Mac/MSA tab -> Inquiry button -> Yearly Graph

b. The Mac/CTY Trend graph is opening two Excel sheets - one is populated and one is empty.  This fix will remove the empty sheet so only the populated workbook will open.

7. DOLWIN-446: (SPEC is included) – Old MWR Web credentials from prior solicitation quarters were being retained on the account. These will be removed so that old/expired web credentials do not print on the forms.
