Subject: Forward Looking Radar (FLR) Sensor Reman Kit Part Numbers for Volvo? Vehicles - Update

Bendix previously announced that remanufactured

Bendix? FLR20? radar sensors would be used

as a replacement for Volvo? vehicles originally

equipped with Bendix? FLR10? radar sensors.

Recently, the part numbers for these kits were

updated as shown below. Please note that the

kits must be ordered from Volvo dealers.

Kits include the bracket and components needed

to perform the installation, however an alignment

tool and digital inclinometer are also required to

complete the task.

CORE EXCHANGES

Since the Bendix? FLR20? radar sensor replaces a Bendix? FLR10?

radar sensor, when customers return the part for Core Credit it is

important to complete and attach the orange Upgrade Tag (BW1829).

This will alert the Bendix Receiving Plant that the Core is eligible to be

applied to the Bendix FLR20 radar sensor Core group.
