The IT Support Team is responsible for the planning, implementation and maintenance of all IT systems including telephony. The team supports a diverse user base across multiple sites as well as providing administration and support to a number of business systems and application suites.This position will work with other IT Support Technicians in the provision of Service Desk and first level support services for IT systems users as well as performing some system maintenance, auditing and monitoring activities. As part of the team, the position is also responsible for assisting in the provision of first level support and the administration to a number of business systems and application suites including Client Information Management Systems (CIMS).Key ResponsibilitiesAs part of a team, provide an IT Help Desk and first-level technical support service to Star Health and partner organisation staff.Support the organisation’s CIMS including maintenance and general administration, testing and training.Assist in the regular maintenance, monitoring and auditing of systems and network performance in accordance with IT policies and procedures.Assist in the deployment, upgrade, modification and testing of all IT supported equipment, software and systems as directed.Generate and maintain training and support documentation relating to the organisation’s IT applications including CIMS.Generate reports as required.Other duties relevant to the IT requirements of the organisation.Key CapabilitiesCommunication: The ability to present information clearly and persuasively and seek out the ideas and views of others.
