OUR MISSION STATEMENT Parks and Recreation Department's mission is to enhance Boise's quality of life by working in partnership with the community to foster and support citizen well being and healthy community environments.

ART START AGES 2.5-5 W ant to get your young person started in art? Then this class is for you! Preschoolers will get introduced to all kinds of fun art projects using a variety of materials such as clay, paint, textiles, pastels and much more.

CLAY CLASS FOR CREATIVE KIDS

AGES 2.5-5 Know the thrill of creating with clay! During this fun class, parents and children will make plates, figures, vases and wall hangings. Students will decorate and glaze all of their one-of-a-kind clay creations.

HOLIDAY CRAFTS

AGES 2.5-5 Parents and children will each create extra special holiday crafts using a variety of materials that your family will cherish for years to come.

STORIES THAT COME ALIVE AGES 2.5-5 Mom, dad, or grandparent, bring your child to the Art Center for a shared time of fun activities. This class includes art projects all centered around special stories for children.

NATURE PRESCHOOL DROP-OFF PROGRAM AGES 3.5-6 In these classes, children will discover nature. Classes include songs, short hikes, stories, crafts and hands-on experiences both inside and outside. Repeat class offered the 1st and 2nd Friday of each month, each month having a different theme. This is a dropoff program.

PRESCHOOL IN THE GARDEN AGES 3.5-6 E ach series of three classes focuses on seasonal components of gardening that encourages exploration, creativity and

healthy eating. Activities during the three-day series may include craft projects, science experiments, garden tours, story time, bug catching and more. Participants should be dressed for the weather, wear closed toed shoes and bring a bottled water. This is a dropoff program.

SCHOOL BREAK PROGRAMS ADULT + CHILD (ALL AGES) For class description, see page 14.

STORY TRAIL ADVENTURE AGES 3-6 Offered the 2nd Tuesday of each month. We invite you and your preschooler to join us to walk our ? mile trail and read a story together. Afterwards each child can get creative

with our story-related craft. Children should dress for the weather and be accompanied by an adult.
