Super Kid: Yadhir Winter Wonderland Party Happy Feet Penguin Day Penguin Headbands & Artwork

December 16 - 20, 2013

,

We celebrated several birthdays and half birthdays this week. Happy 6? Birthday to Lincoln! Happy 6th Birthday to Kilyn! Happy 5 ? Birthday to Cami!

We had our Winter Wonderland Party. Thank you to the parent volunteers who made this day special. At our party we decorated Christmas cookies and made gumdrop snowflakes. We made a star craft and a reindeer candy cane craft. We played Santa Claus Cootie and Make a Face on Frosty and Trouble. Thank you for your donations of canned goods for the Food Shelf!

We also had our school wide Happy Feet Penguin Day. We wore black and white and our penguin headbands that we made. We had fun "ice skating" and waddling like a penguin in the gym, playing bingo, doing penguin dances, reading penguin stories, making a penguin art project, and of course watching the movie Happy Feet.

I want to thank all of the families that sent in items from our classroom wish list and/or holiday wish list this school year. You are all so generous, and it helps us out so much! Thank you!

Have a Merry Christmas! See you in 2014!

You may also use the orange box top collection sheet you received during assessment week if you prefer to use that instead of a baggie. Please let me know if you would like another box top collection sheet. Park Side School collects old cell phones and ink cartridges too.
