We are so blessed to have your family involved in our program. Our pre-school is fully committed to teaching our students about the love of Jesus Christ as well as providing an age and developmentally appropriate program for early learning.Our teachers are educated, experienced and prepared to help your children grow and develop spiritually, emotionally, socially, physically, and intellectually. Our daily routine of developmentally appropriate learning includes center activities, group discussions and participation, individual skills practice, and biblical study. In addition, children will learn about loving, helping and respecting each other.CLASSES (2015-2016)Our pre-school offers classes for children from 6 months through age 5 or entering Kindergarten. Our program is from 9AM till noon, with optional lunch bunch from noon to 1pm daily. We offer 1, 2, 3, and 5 days per week programs.INFANTS/TODDLERS: Our teacher/student ratio is 1:3 & 1:5 with a floater available at all times. (State ratio is 1:6) The children in this group explore co9lors, shapes, etc. through various artwork mediums.TWOS: Our teacher/student ratio is 1:8 with a floater available at all times. (State ratio is 1:10) With classroom exploration, they learn cause and effect and develop a sense of pride as their accomplishments are encouraged.THREES: Our teacher/student ratio is 1:10 with a floater available at all times. (State ratio is 1:15) Our 3 year olds will be learning math skills (number recognition, shapes, counting), pre-reading skills (letter recognition), and language skills through social interaction, art, music, center activities, and in group and individual activities.FOURS & K-READINESS: Our teacher teacher/student ratio is 1:12 with a floater available at all times. (State ratio is 1:20) This class will be preparing for Kindergarten by learning how to work together as a group and will gain self-confidence by sharng in front of a class. This fee will ensure your child’s place in our program and will go toward supplies and snacks for the year. The fee is due annually each fall and is non-refundable.Activity Fee: Activity fees are in addition to Registration Fees and Tuition Fees. They are due 15 days prior to the beginning of the program. The activity fee is $30 per child. These fees are refundable if your child withdraws from the program BEFORE the program begins. Activity fees are used to pay for activities such as special teachers, special classes, shows or events for the children. It may not cover all expenses for your child. On occasion, you may be asked to send money for a special event.Tuition rates:Tuition rates are determined by the financial needs of the program. FAMILIES WILL BE GIVEN A 30 DAY NOTICE OF ANY FEE INCREASE. There are no refunds or deductions from tuition for absences, vacation days, sick days, personal days, holidays, bad weather days, etc.Tuition Fees:Attending 1 day per week$ 90 monthAttending 2 days per week$150 monthAttending 3 days per week$185 monthAttending 5 days per week$220 month2 children per family = 10% discount/both3 children per family = 15% discount/threePreSchool monthly tuition must be paid in full by the 10th of the month. If we receive a NSF check from the bank, you will be responsible for any fees the Children’s Center incurs and all future payments must be made by Money Order.If you withdraw your child from the program, please notify the Director two weeks prior to final date of attendance; otherwise, you will be required to pay two weeks of tuition after your child’s final day of attendance.{Pg. 8}SAFE ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE PROCEDURESChild must be accompanied in and out of the Children’s Center by an authorized adult. Your file will contain a list of adults authorized to pick up your child.Authorized adults must use Sign in/out sheets.Staff must be notified of your child’s arrival. The responsibility of your child remains with you until the staff has personally received your child.Staff must be notified of your child’s departure. We do not send children out to cars without an adult accompanying them.Authorization is required when any adult other than those specified in the child’s records comes to sign out your child. In the event of an emergency, you may call the Children’s Center to make arrangements. All adults are required to show proper ID.Please call the Children’s Center if your child needs to leave early. This ensures your child will be ready for departure. Lunch Bunch is an additional $4 per day per child and you must pack your child’s lunch.The teachers in our center arrive early to prepare for the children’s arrival and classroom activities. Our teachers are not expected to come in early or stay late in order to accommodate your child’s or your schedule. Do not expect your child’s teacher to take charge of your child before 8:55am or after 12pm. If you arrive later than the scheduled pick-up time of Noon or 1pm, you will be charged late fees of $1 per minute. A phone call alerting us to the situation is expected. If late pick-ups occur on a regular basis, your child may be dismissed from our program. The most accurate and synchronized clock will be CELL PHONES to determine late fees.SNOW POLICY:TWO HOUR WS/FC SCHOOL DELAY: The Pre-School will be open 11am – 1pm, including lunch bunch for no additional fee. Pack your child’s lunch.WS/FC SCHOOL CLOSED: The Pre-School is closed.WS/FC EARLY SCHOOL CLOSING: Please pick up your child immediately so your child and our staff can arrive home safely. No climbing UP the slide!Sand and dirt are NOT for throwing.Please wear comfortable shoes that are suitable for outside play. No flip-flops please. ALL of these extra clothing items should be LABELED. NO COSTUMES OR MASKS are to be worn, unless pre-approved for a special day. The center does not have extra clothing for children when they have accidents. Please send your child an extra change of clothes (top, bottom, underwear and socks) in a backpack or diaper bag EVERYDAY! Diapers/ Pull-ups/ Potty Training:Please be sure to send at least 3 to 4 diapers or pull-ups in your child’s bag. If you do not send these items, you will be called to bring some immediately to the center. If your child is wearing pull-ups, please use and send the type that has the velcro sides for easy removal. Other types of pull-ups require removal of shoes, tights and socks.
