Setup

Power up unit 1 Plug the Linortek power supply into the Vonets power plug 2 Let the Vonets unit initialize for 5 min. 3 Unplug from the Ethernet port if your PC is hard wired into the network, then connect Vonets to your

PC LAN port. 4 If you use a laptop, turned on your laptop wireless to locate the Vonets. The Vonets will always have

an SSID similar to this: VONETS_BBF20 where the last five digits are from the units MAC address. 5 The password for connecting is 12345678

Note: To configure your Vonets, please use Internet Explorer browser or it won't work correctly! Open your Internet Explorer browser and type in vonets.cfg or 192.168.254.254 in the address bar and hit return. You should have the login page for the Vonets. Enter admin for login and admin for password.

Turn off repeater so the SSID isn't broadcasting. This prevents excess WiFi signals and limits access to the Vonets. The Vonets will be in bridge mode once the repeater is off and you will need a program to find it on the network in order to log into it in the future.

2. Select Disable from the Host Hotspots line, click Apply.

6 Click Scan Hotspots tab, the Scan Hotspots page is displayed. In the list of Wireless Networks you should be able to find your network access point.

7 Select your network from the list and select the next button

8 Enter the pass phrase for your network and select Apply. 9 Once it finishes configuring, click Reboot, now the Vonets unit is connected to your wireless network

and you can now use it with the Linortek devices.

10 Connecting Linortek device with Vonets WiFi Bridge

1. Plug the Vonets RJ45 internet and power plug into the Linortek unit. 2. The Linortek unit should initialize and come to a normal operation mode as indicated by a slow

blinking red LED labeled Pulse. 3. Download the Discover program to help you locate your device from the Linortek website

4. Launch the Discover program downloaded from the Linortek website. It is a Java applet so you

must have Java running on your computer. 5. When the program opens you should see your device listed in the Discover window.

6. Clicking on the IP address line you will open a browser with the home page for the server. You are now ready to configure your Linortek device.
