The Philadelphia 76ers would like to welcome all members of the media to the 2017-18 season, our 22nd season in The Center and our 55th in the City of Brotherly Love. We ask you to please read this section carefully and

CREDENTIALS: Appropriate credentials are required for access to The Center and should be kept visible at all times. A limited number of season credentials are issued each season to outlets that plan to cover the Sixers on a game-by-game basis. A single-game credential allows the same access and privileges as a season pass. In accordance with NBArules, all season passes must include a photo headshot of the approved individual. Media members wishing to cover a single game must contact the Philadelphia 76ers Public Relations staff by noon the day before the intended game. Passes are issued on a space-available basis for all single-game requests. Credentials will be left at the Press Entrance (located on the North side of the Main Concourse Level) and can be picked up two hours prior to tip-off on game nights.

ENTRANCE: Media members attending a Sixers game at The Center should enter the building through the Press Entrance, located on the North side of the Main Concourse Level.

PARKING: Media members wishing to cover a single game, and require parking, must contact the Philadelphia 76ers Public Relations staff at least 48 hours prior to game day. Media members attending Sixers games should park in Lot F, located along the 11th Street side.

MEDIA ROOM: The media room is located at the Northeast corner of the Event Floor Level. Appropriate credentials are required for media room access. The media room consists of a dining facility, working stations and wireless internet access. Food, game notes, media kits and working space are available to the media during the course of an event. Food and beverages are served two hours before tip-off time. Refreshments are available during the game. A nominal fee of $10 is charged for a pre-game meal.

SEATING: Home and visiting television as well as home and visiting radio will be seated in section 112. All other media will be assigned seats on the baseline (section 118) on a space-available basis.

STILL & VIDEO PHOTOGRAPHERS: Photo work space is limited and your cooperation is appreciated. Still and video photographers are limited to the baselines at each end of the court. In accordance with the NBA policy, no hard-back chairs are permitted courtside and all photographers must keep clear of all designated escape lanes. Rubber lens shades are required for all still photographers who are credentialed to shoot a 76ers game.

LOCKER ROOM ACCESS: The locker rooms are located on the west side (Broad Street) of the Event Level. In accordance with NBA policy, the 76ers locker room will be open 90 minutes prior and close 45 minutes prior to tip-off. Following a ten-minute cooling off period, the locker room will open after the game has been completed. Only credentialed media are allowed in the locker room and no autographs are permitted. All media members are asked to have their passes visible at all times while in The Center.

GAME NOTES & STATS: Game notes for both teams will be available in the press room two hours prior to tip-off. Play-by-play, quarterly boxes, halftime boxes, final notes and quotes will be delivered to all media locations as quickly as possible.

PRACTICES & SHOOTAROUNDS: Sixers practices are held at the Philadelphia 76ers Training Complex located in Camden, NJ. Parking is available across from the practice facility on South Front St. and Harbour Blvd.

TELEVISION COVERAGE

Anchored by the performance of multiple Emmy-Award winning play-by-play broadcaster Marc Zumoff, color commentator Alaa Abdelnaby, and sideline reporter Molly Sullivan, NBC Sports Philadelphia and NBC Sports Philadelphia+ will team up to broadcast 74 regular season games in the 2017-18 season.

The Sixers flagship station, NBC Sports Philadelphia, will air 64 regular season games, while NBC Sports Philadelphia+ will broadcast 10 regular season matchups.

NBC Sports Philadelphia and NBC Sports Philadelphia+, part of NBC Sports Group, provide award-winning sports news, analysis, live game coverage and original programming to nearly three million viewers in the Philadelphia area, Southern New Jersey and Delaware. Together the networks present more than 500 live game broadcasts annually, featuring the NHL's Philadelphia Flyers, NBA's Philadelphia 76ers, MLB's Philadelphia Phillies, MLS's Philadelphia Union, NCAA and high school events, plus extensive coverage of the Philadelphia Eagles. The networks' news and original programming teams have been distinguished with numerous Emmys and Edward R. In addition to the outstanding on-air personalities, the Sixers broadcast team also has exceptional behind the scenes talent. Producer J.R. Aguila, is joined in the control room by Director Nick Marchetta. Aguila is a multiple Emmy-Award winner with 35 years of experience working professional sporting events in the Philadelphia market. In addition to the Sixers, Marchetta has directed broadcasts for the Flyers, US Open Tennis and Phillies Baseball.

The duo joins Vice President of Live Events Shawn Oleksiak, a long-time member of the NBA broadcast advisory board and tentime Emmy winner as well as a producer of over 1,100 Sixers telecasts, to lead a stellar production crew in high definition 76ers broadcasts.

MARC ZUMOFF

Television Play-by-Play Announcer

Emmy-Award winner Marc Zumoff enters his 24th season as the Sixers television play-by-play announcer and his 36th as a part of the 76ers broadcast team. Zumoff, a Philadelphia native, was officially named play-by-play announcer on Aug. 17, 1994. He has been honored with an Emmy for best sports play-by-play broadcaster 17 times. Zumoff has been honored by his alma mater, Temple University, with a Lew Klein Award and is a member of the hall of fame for Temple's School of Communications and Theater. He was also inducted into the Philadelphia Jewish Sports Hall of Fame in 2011. Zumoff is a broadcast coach for both aspiring performers as well as experienced professionals with information available at . He is also co-author of the textbook Total Sportscasting: Performance, Production and Career Development published by Focal Press. Zumoff also appears regularly at community functions on behalf of the team. Zumoff has done play-by-play for NBC Sports' coverage of the 2016 Rio Olympic games, as he followed the U.S Women's basketball team to its 6th consecutive gold medal. He's also done play-byplay for NBA TV and for Turner Sports coverage of the NBA, including both regular season and playoff games, the network's coverage of the Goodwill Games as well as play-by-play for NBC Sports Philadelphia's coverage of Philadelphia Union Soccer, and college football. Prior to joining the Sixers broadcast team full time, Zumoff was a part of the now-defunct PRISM Sports Network where he anchored and produced features for 76ers coverage as well as play-by-play for a variety of events and teams in the region, including the Philadelphia Flyers, the Philadelphia Big Five and the Philadelphia Fever of the Major Indoor Soccer League. Zumoff broke into television as the play-by-play talent for the Fever which helped lead to his position with PRISM. During his days at Temple, Zumoff announced Owl football and basketball games. Following his graduation from Temple University, he had stints as a radio news anchor and reporter at WBUD and WTTM Radio in Trenton, N.J. and WHWH Radio in Princeton, N.J., where he broke into play-by-play announcing Princeton Football and Basketball games. Zumoff lives in suburban Philadelphia with his wife Debbie. They have two sons, Jake and Pace, both of whom work in the aviation industry.

ALAA ABDELNABY

Television Color Commentator

Former Philadelphia 76er and NBA veteran Alaa Abdelnaby enters his third season as a member of the Sixers broadcast team. His broadcasting resume includes working as a color commentator for Westwood One Radio. He also serves as a color commentator and studio analyst with CBS Sports Network. Abdelnaby has called a number of NCAA Tournament games, including the 2015 Final Four featuring Sixers Jahlil Okafor as a member of the Duke Blue Devils. Abdelnaby is a 1990 graduate of Duke University, where he was a Third-Team All-ACC selection as a senior while averaging 15 points and 7 rebounds in 38 games played. During his collegiate career, he played in three Final Fours. Abdelnaby became the first-round selection of the Portland Trail Blazers (25th overall) in the 1990 NBA Draft. Abdelnaby enjoyed a 10 year career in professional basketball, including five seasons in the NBA and a stint with the Sixers in 1995. He and his wife Celeste, also a Duke grad, and a PhD in education and is an administrator at the HS level. They met at school where she was a Duke cheerleader! They split their time between NJ & California.

MOLLY SULLIVAN

Television Sideline Reporter

Molly Sullivan joined NBC Sports Philadelphia in April 2012. She quickly picked up NBA playoff experience as the Sixers sideline reporter for the final month of the regular season and the Eastern Conference playoffs. Sullivan also worked for Turner Sports as a reporter during the 2014 NBA Playoffs on TNT and NBA TV. The following year, Sullivan was selected by the National Basketball Association to vote for the league's most outstanding performers of the 2014-15 season. Prior to reporting on her first love, the NBA, Sullivan spent seven years on the college football and college basketball sidelines for a number of national networks. A native of Las Vegas and graduate of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Sullivan is a former ACC champion and four-time NCAA qualifier in the 1650 freestyle for the Tar Heels. She also competed in the 2000 U.S. Olympic Trials for Santa Clara Swim Club. Sullivan and her husband celebrated the birth of their daughter in May 2016.

RADIO COVERAGE

Sixers fans will be able to catch all the Sixers action on the radio in 2016-17, as Tom McGinnis returns for his 23rd season as Voice of the Sixers. McGinnis, who hosts pregame, halftime and postgame shows for every game, can be heard on the 76ers Radio Network. The Fanatic (97.5 FM) is entering its fourth full season as the Sixers flagship station.

Radio Play-by-Play Announcer

Tom McGinnis enters his 23rd season as the voice of the Sixers Radio Network. McGinnis has become one of the most recognizable radio personalities in sports today. While handling all the play-by-play on-air, he also serves as the 76ers Director of Radio Broadcasting. McGinnis hosts numerous Sixers events and community relations efforts in the offseason.

He was recently named 2014 Pennsylvania Sportscaster of the Year by the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association (NSSA).

McGinnis, who grew up in Spring Valley, Ill., received a degree in Broadcast Journalism from Northern Illinois University in 1984. He played point guard his first two years in college at Benedictine University in Lisle, Ill. A three-sport standout in high school, McGinnis was recently inducted into the Saint Bede Academy Athletic Hall of Fame.

Prior to joining the Sixers for the 1995-96 season, McGinnis recorded 13 years of broadcasting experience, including seven years at local television stations, four years of play-by-play in the CBA with the Cedar Rapids Silver Bullets (1989-90) and LaCrosse Catbirds (1990-93) and two years calling minor league hockey games with the Cleveland Lumberjacks and the South Carolina Stingrays.

McGinnis lives in New Jersey with his wife, Robin Rieger, formerly of KYW-TV, and their two children, Kenna and Luke.

PHILADELPHIA 76ERS TRAINING COMPLEX

SIXERS PRACTICE FACILITY

The Philadelphia 76ers officially opened the basketball operations portion of the team's 125,000-square-foot Training Complex on September 23, 2016. The Training Complex, which is the largest in the NBA, is designed to foster team building and unity, communication, innovation, and the spirit of competition. The basketball operations facility includes two NBA regulation-size basketball courts, a 2,800-square-foot player locker room, and state-of-theart performance, wellness, recovery, and hydrotherapy rooms. The basketball training facility was conceived to be a 24/7 destination for elite NBA and front office talent with amenities including a player restaurant, private balcony, film and press room.
