Depression in the Youth and Adolescent

A 2007 study estimates that at least 66,000 women and girls in England and Wales may be living with the consequences of female genital mutilation (FGM) and 21,000 girls under the age of 8 are deemed to be at risk, based on the countries of origin of women and girls. The Home Office is currently partly funding a study to obtain accurate statistics. ................
