Navigating the family court system in Arizona can often be a confusing and difficult process to manage on your own. At Fresh Start, we strive to help women effectively advocate for themselves and their children in family court. We offer group special topic classes presented by licensed attorneys and professionals. Our experienced Certified Legal Document Preparer can review or prepare family court documents at a significantly reduced fee.

How to Access Family Law Support Services

Step One: Register as a Fresh Start Client and although it is not required, we encourage you to attend "First Steps" to learn about all of our amazing programs and services.

Step Two: Pick up a Client Intake form online or at our Front Desk. Turn in the completed form to our front desk staff to schedule your 30-Minute Intake Appointment ($10).

What to expect at your intake appointment. May include one or more of the following:

? Information to assist you with your family law matter (court process, legal procedural, etc.).

? Resources or referrals to attorneys when appropriate.

? Provide Client Information Form, schedule future appointment, and discuss document preparation/review fees.

? Referral to specific topic class for divorce, legal decision-making, etc.

o Preparing and Presenting Your Case

o Family Court Preparation and Q & A

o Legal Information Session: Child Support

o Gaining Control: Divorce Changes Everything

Step Three: One-Hour Assessment Appointment What to expect at your Assessment Appointment. May include one or more of the following: ? Review of family court documents or documents prepared by you for filing. ? Specific information or guidance to assist you with your family law matter (court process, legal procedural, etc.). ? Resources or referrals to attorneys when appropriate. ? Gather additional information needed for document preparation and schedule future appointment. ? Referral to specific topic class for divorce, legal decision-making, etc. If necessary.

Step Four: Document Preparation Services Divorce and Legal Separation ? Divorce or Legal Separation with Children ? Divorce or Legal Separation without Children ? Annulment (without children only) ? Temporary Orders

Modification of Existing Court Orders ? Modification of Child Support ? Modification of Parenting Time ? Modification of Legal Decision-Making, Parenting Time

and Child Support ? Temporary Orders

Establishing a Case Involving Children ? Establish Child Support ? Establish Parenting Time ? Establish Legal Decision-Making ? Establish Paternity ? Temporary Orders

All clients receiving document preparation services are required to sign our CLDP Service Agreement and pay the document preparation fee required for each appointment with a Certified Legal Document Preparer.
