Access via OxLIP+ (log in using SSO when off-campus).
To be able to save searches, set up alerts, etc. when working on campus, follow these steps:
1. Select Find e-Journal ( Other options
2. Choose Nexis UK News from the Vendor list and click on Go.
3. Click on any of the titles in the results list, then, in the new window under Full Text Options, click on Nexis UK News.
4. Enter your SSO details when prompted, and continue to Nexis.
Wildcards and truncation
Use an asterisk as a wildcard to replace a single character in the middle of a word: e.g. organi*ation will retrieve results with both ‘organisation’ and ‘organization’.
Use an exclamation mark for truncation to retrieve all endings of a root: e.g. politic! will pick up results with ‘politics’, ‘political’, ‘politicians’, etc.

Proximity operators

near5 - to specify that terms must appear within 5 (or another number of your choice) words of one another, but in any order. E.g. recession near10 banks.

Go to News Pages ( Factiva Pages to see the day’s headlines from the main UK broadsheets, plus the Wall Street Journal and the Economist.

ProQuest Newspapers

Place terms in quotation marks to search for them as an exact phrase.
