Finding the right verbs can be absolutely critical to making your writing stand out. The following is a list of vivid verbs that can be used in your writing to replace words that are considered "dead" or boring. The word "vivid" means "bright" or "full of life." Rather than said, did, do, be, is, are, were, etc., try using these vivid verbs below.
