Do one or more of these “topical activities” to increase your chances of getting an “A” on the chapter 3 exam:

1) Look at all the pictures and read all captions.

2) Review page 88 – it lists the vocabulary and key points.

3) Write the suggested paragraphs.

4) Do some section review questions.

5) Do the Standardized Test Prep; end of chapter – page 93.

6) For one of each type of math problem on the worksheets, explain in words how you did it including all of the details involved. If you can do this for the following topics (counting protons, neutrons, electrons in isotopes and ions, doing isotope calucalations, doing mole map problems, etc.) you will be really prepared for your test.

7) Redo your worksheets!!!

8) Rewrite/redraw important things from your notes

Do 4 of these or get teacher approval to do something else in each “hamburger section” of your paper. You may work with other students.

1) Copy down important pictures from the notes

2) Write a suggested paragraph.

3) Do some section review questions.

4) Do the Standardized Test Prep; end of chapter – page 93.

5) Copy something important from the notes

6) Write the definitions for 4 vocabulary words (page 88)

7) Do 2 of the sample problems from the book

8) Write down 4 of the “chapter highlights” in your own words (page 88)
