Likelihood of extension, pending funding outcome.Disclosure required?(The post involves contact with children and/or access to confidential information about children and families)Yes – BasicResponsibilities and accountabilitiesManage all administrative tasks in NRFG.Support staff, management and Board of Directors with admin and finance support.Identify and support funding applications.Liaise with our bookkeeping and finance management service; providing all documentation required such as invoices, grant awards, payroll reports etc.Ensure that all NRFG records e.g. personnel, operational documents, finance, policies and procedures, are all up-to-date and in line with the requirements of relevant legislation e.g. data protection, Health & Safety etcEnsure that all NRFG petty cash is managed in line with our policy and procedureSupport and update our social media.Coordinate all administrative and finance tasks in line with operations e.g. manage printer leasing and payments, Companies House, OSCR, Broadband, Insurance, venue lease, venue bookings etcEnsure that any issues in relation to health and safety are reported to management and the owners of service base, immediately. This must be communicated both verbally and in writing to ensure that it has been received.Contribute to a clean and tidy office/building.Adhering to the lone working policy.Liaising with stakeholders and contacts, to ensure that NRFG is supported and developed.Participate in any relevant training and development opportunities.Adhere to the content of the staff handbook at all times.General statementIt is the nature of NRFG that tasks and responsibilities are in many circumstances unpredictable and varied. All employees are therefore expected to work in a flexible way when the occasion arises and undertake tasks that are not specifically covered in their job description, but still pertinent to their job role.Person Specification Knowledge and ExperienceEssential:Experience of administration and finance managementExperience of working as part of a team to deliver operational goals. Excellent IT skills –Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Office, PowerPoint, databases. Excellent communication and people skills.Ability to use own initiative and work autonomously.Experience of navigating social media platformsSkills and abilities Essential: Highly organised, with ability to prioritise, plan and deliver work within agreed timeframes and to a high standard.Good power of negotiation and persuasion, and an ability to work collaboratively with others both internally and externally.Takes the initiative to proactively respond to queries, solve problems and resolve issues which arise.Ability to cope under pressure, managing and prioritising work. Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner.Excellent communication skills and an ability to offer support in an understanding and non judgemental manner.Belief in and enthusiasm for the aims of NRFG.Positive can do attitude with a flexible and creative approach to achieving organisational outcomes to a high standard.Willingness to take direction and work alongside staff.Openness to learning and self reflection in order to improve mitment to promoting a positive NRFG reputation.
