ATM2GO was the first franchised ATM business in Australia. We are a 100% Australian-owned company. We are not taking big profits for shareholders to benefit from. Our partners are our franchisees and they are the ones who benefit from us all working hard together.

Our focus is on providing exceptional and personal service to our clients. We achieve this through a franchise network of business owners that all have a vested interest in the service they provide their clients. We currently have 17 franchisees around Australia.

We don't dabble in ATMs with a range of additional add-ons, we just do a really good job of managing our core business which is our event and fixed ATMs. As such, we do consider ourselves experts in our field! While a number of other companies will claim that they are the experts, our three-person strong management team have more than 45 years' experience in the ATM industry between them, which is pretty hard for most of our competitors to match.

Because our franchisees are a part of the local community they can provide unrivaled local service, particularly in some of our smaller cities and regional areas where our larger competitors don't have the staff or the spare parts on the ground. Our franchisees use and maintain their own ATMs. This not only keeps their machinery in top condition but also makes them extremely knowledgeable so they can then provide the detailed information merchants require when adding an ATM to their business.

We are particular about who we grant franchises to. We are passionate about what we do, and we are looking for people with the same passion and enthusiasm. People who can provide exceptional levels of customer service, who are not afraid to knock on doors to get business, who can balance their home life with the hours required of this business and importantly, are hungry to make their business a great success financially.

From the beginning, we have wanted to provide a reliable, professional and personalised ATM service and now some seven years later, this is still our goal. What has changed is that we now have a team of 17 like-minded franchisees helping us to achieve this goal. If you have exceptional customer service and sales skills, you are keen to chase business, close sales and maintain relationships to ensure repeat business, then you might be just who we are looking for.

WHY CHOOSE ATM2GO?

With ATM2GO, you are not tied down to a shop front or regular business hours. We take the hard work out of running an ATM business for you by providing the expertise of a well recognised brand plus the supply of equipment, spare parts and guidance regarding events, fixed ATM placement and day-to-day issues.

ATM2GO is an ATM business opportunity, not an ATM investment opportunity. There are schemes where you can invest in ATMs and someone else will place and manage these ATMs on your behalf. This is not what we offer. You will be an active player in the development and growth of your own business.

BUSINESS MODEL

We have franchise models that offer event (mobile) ATMs, fixed ATMs or both.

Our event ATMs include a combination of trailers (two ATMs mounted on a trailer) or ATMs that are placed under our custom printed 1.5x1.5m marquees. We can cater for both indoor and outdoor events with our ATMs. The key to our success has been not only reliable and well presented machinery but also our signage and well recognised brand. The ATMs need to be easy to find at an event to ensure that they get maximum usage.

The retail or fixed ATMs are the passive side of the business. An ATM placed in a fixed site does not require the same amount of labour as an event ATM. Regular maintenance of machinery and maintaining personal relationships with merchants is the key to keeping these sites longterm. With plenty of competition in the retail market you need to be prepared to knock on a lot of doors, fill your funnel with contacts and invest your time and effort for long term gain.

We have three franchise opportunities available.

PREMIUM FRANCHISEE This model will have you managing events and securing fixed sites in your exclusive territory. With this model you are running hard - you are working full time and will need a healthy amount of cash to invest to make the most of this opportunity, and to grow your business.

RETAIL ATM FRANCHISEE This model limits you to only installing retail (or fixed) ATMs in your territory. This model is not as labour intensive as the Premium Franchise option, but you do need to allocate time to knock on doors or use your extensive network to find venues to place your ATMs. You also need to be available seven days a week to take the odd call from a site if there's an issue with the machine.

ROAMING EVENT ATM FRANCHISEE This option is ideal if you are looking for something part time, as this option will have you attending events far and wide. We will secure events for you, plus you will take the overload from our current franchisees and fill in for them during their annual leave. You could be travelling from one end of the city to the other to attend anything from a school fete to a market, or music festival.

The downside is that you have no territory to develop to then sell on at a later date, you make hay while the sun shines! It is a great way to introduce yourself to the business and then consider upgrading to a Premium Franchise at some stage if you think it's something you can really sink your teeth into. We are only looking for one Roaming Franchisee in Sydney and Melbourne at this stage.

WHERE TO FROM HERE?

To receive more detailed information about our business model we do need you to sign a confidentiality agreement. We ask some basic questions regarding your health and the amount of money you have to invest in the business. This is just to make sure you meet our minimum criteria before we go any further.

After we have received your confidentiality agreement, we'll send you a sales pack that provides further detail about our business model. After reading this we expect you to have a long list of questions for us! To get through that list of questions, we like to meet face to face. We'd love for you to come and see us at our Brisbane office. Consider this part of the due diligence you need to do on us. Come and see our warehouse, see the machines we have on the floor and our extensive stock of spare parts. It also gives you a chance to meet the whole team.

After we have answered all your questions and you do the rest of your due diligence, including some market research into the territory you are interested in, we will ask you to fill in an application form. From start to finish, you can expect the process to take about 12 weeks. The end process including legals, cooling off periods and ordering your new ATMs should take around six to eight weeks.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

DO I REQUIRE ANY ATM EXPERIENCE? No, that would be a really big ask! What we do need are really driven people. Previous business experience is certainly well regarded but is not essential.

WHAT IS THE TERM OF THE FRANCHISE AGREEMENT? We offer Premium Franchises a five-year agreement with an option to renew for a further five years.

DO I NEED MORE CASH ON TOP OF THE FRANCHISE PURCHASE PRICE? Yes. The money that goes into your ATMs is yours, so you do need cash on top of your purchase. We refer to this additional cash as stock

DO YOU HAVE A SEPARATE MARKETING FUND? No, our on-staff marketing co-ordinator juggles our website updates and social media with advertising artwork and brochures as part of our franchise fee. However, franchisees are expected to allocate their own funds for local area marketing projects in their territory.

HOW DO YOU CALCULATE YOUR FRANCHISE FEE? Unlike most other franchises who have a franchise service fee, we have a franchise fee per successful ATM transaction. Your other source of income is hire fees (Premium and Roaming ATM franchisees) and we don't deduct a franchise fee from these payments.

WHY SHOULD I PURCHASE AN ATM2GO FRANCHISE? In a nutshell, it's a great balance of work and lifestyle with a rewarding income to boot! We won't lie, it's not for everyone. Although we find it second nature to juggle home and work life throughout the week, there are plenty of people who, for different reasons, can't or don't want to work weekends. We respect this and we do ask our prospective franchisees to have a good think about whether this would work in with their lifestyle (or if they are prepared to change their lifestyle). We could rattle off a list of other reasons why we think you should buy a franchise but we normally let our franchisees do the talking for us.
