Ok here is the download and install directions

We are currently running a server that uses WoW client version 2.1.1 with The Burning Crusade expansion.

If you are interested in playing or trying it out ...no big problem. All you need is an installer for the 2.0.0 trial version and then the patches to 2.1.1. Do not have or really do not want to buy the TBC (The Burning Crusade expansion)? …no problem, you can still use the wow client 2.1.1 with out it. You just can not go to any of the TBC areas or use the 2 new races that come with TBC.

Step 1:

 WoW-2.0.0-enUS-Installer

(For file planet you will need to make an account if not so long as you get the WoW-2.0.0-enUS-Installer from some where)

Step 2 (optional but recommended)

Download url for the Burning Crusade

 Step 3:

World of Warcraft Manual Patch 2.0.x to 2.0.3 - US

Step 4:

World of Warcraft v2.0.3 to v2.0.10 US Patch

Now for some reason Blizzard changed the way the game updates, so from here on in you will need to make sure you close out the WoW Launcher and do not allow it to run the updates, as this will get your client updated to far to use our server. From this point on, close out the launcher as soon as it starts.

Step 5:

World of Warcraft Patch v2.0.10 - v2.0.12

 Step 6:

World of Warcraft Patch v2.0.12 - v2.1.0 (The Black Temple)

 Step 7:

 World of Warcraft Patch v2.1.0 - v2.1.0.6

 Step 8:

World of Warcraft Patch v2.1.0.6 - v2.1.1 (US)

Step 9:

World of Warcraft Patch v2.1.1 (6739) – v2.1.2 (6803) (US)

Step 10:

World of Warcraft Patch v2.1.2 (6803 – v2.1.3 (6898) (US)

Now that you have all the updates you need for our server there are a few things you need to do.

Go to the folder where you installed WoW, you will need to remove a file called the BN updater and any files that say version updater or partial update.

This is a list of the folders and files that you should have left in your WoW folder:

Folders:

Data

Cache

Logs

Interface

Errors

WTF

Files:

dbghelp.dll

Launcher.exe

Scan.dll

WowError

Burning Crusade Install Log.html

DivxDecoder.dll

realmlist

unicows.dll

fmod.dll

Patch.html

ijl15.dll

Repair.exe

WoW.exe

World of Warcraft Install Log.html

Patch.txt

Wow-patch.mpq

Everything else should be removed or else every time you start up WoW it will try to update.

Now you will see a file called realmlist.wtf in the main WoW folder. You need to right click and open, windows will ask you to search for a program to open it or select a program, choose the select program and use notepad in the list to open this file you will see 2 lines on this page.

They will look like this:

set realmlist wow/blizzard.us something or other

set patchlist wow/blizzard.us something or other

You need to change the first line to this until I fix the DNS issue for it:

set realmlist 68.112.62.176

…and delete the second line from the page and save it.

Now do not close the folder out just yet. Go to your desk top and delete the WoW shortcut that was put there and then in the folder find the WoW.exe file and create a shortcut. Do not use the launcher (this will also check for updates, which is not good at this time).

Drag and drop that short cut on to your desktop and it is all set.
