- It is NOT historically accurate or acceptable to have images of modern things featured on your poster that weren’t available in the early 1900s.

1. Students may select one of the following topics found in World War 1:

- enlistment and recruitment - financing the war

- the role of women - Food Administration

-Rationing - Limiting Freedom of Speech

-Committee on Public Information - aiding our allies

2. The poster will be graded according to the criteria outlined on the attached rubric.

3. There are 3 ways in which you can design your poster:

1) Draw a poster free-hand (Artists)

2) Use a combination of a digital camera, Adobe Photoshop and/or MS Publisher

(Computer Geniuses)

3) Use a digital camera to stage an image that you can later copy down free hand on your poster (Creative, but Artistically Challenged People).

4. YOU WILL answer the questions attached about your project and submit them with your completed poster.

Due Date:

This project will be due on Monday, February 22, 2016 (THE DAY WE GET BACK) at the beginning of class. You will not be excused during class to print your project, despite begging, pleading and promising that it is done and in your user-share or email. It will be worth 20 points.
