Basic Information: During war, it is common for governments and citizens to create propaganda to encourage support of the war effort. World War II was no exception, as all of the participants created a variety of forms of propaganda – such as radio messages, posters, stickers, films, and toys.

Today you will examine 2 types of American propaganda during World War II: posters and cartoons. First we will examine American propaganda posters and complete the chart below. Then we will watch a Bugs Bunny & Donald Duck cartoon from World War II that encouraged support of the war.
