Any changes in your household over the summer?

Please make sure if your information has changed over the summer, such as address, custody, etc. that you contact Karen McDaniel, Registrar, in the Counseling Center. She can be reached at: kmcdaniel@ or 614-450-6482.

Textbooks may still be turned in!

Students must return all of their textbooks from last year or they will be charged a replacement fee for each book. (Replacement fees range from $75 up to $150 per book, so please be sure students return all books to avoid being charged.) This must be taken care of immediately, or students will not be able to receive their schedules for the next school year, during Schedule Pick-up.

Students can see what books they have checked out to them by logging into the Worthington Portal using their user name and password, then click MY ACCOUNT (bottom of the screen) and click on MY TEXTBOOKS.

School Bus Routes and Schedules are still being finalized

The department of transportation is working hard to finalize the District's bus routes and time schedules for morning pickups in neighborhoods. While you can look up the tentative schedule on the District website, changes may happen up until the first day of school ? to the bus numbers and the pickup times ? so be sure to double-check your student's bus information the day before school starts . . . .

Columbus Public Health Adolescent Vaccine Clinics to be held in August at TWHS and WKHS

Two opportunities to have your 7th and 12th graders vaccinated during August:

At Thomas Worthington: Wednesday, August 7th from 2-5 pm At Worthington Kilbourne: Thursday, August 22nd from 2-5 pm

State law requires all 7th and 12th graders be vaccinated for Tdap and meningitis to attend school. Click here to view the flyer with all details.

Reminder for parents/guardians of SENIORS (Class of 2020)

Message from Nurse Julie: The State of Ohio law (ORC 3313.671) requires for all students that two doses of the Meningococcal vaccine be completed prior to the start of their senior year. (Only one dose if the first dose is given on or after the 16th birthday). If you are the parent or guardian of a current junior student, please click here for more information about this important vaccination.

From our District Office

Ohio's State Tests Scores The spring Ohio's State Tests (OST) scores were posted to Infinite Campus on June 4th. Parents/Guardians can view their child's testing information by going to the Worthington School's website (worthington.k12.oh.us), logging into the parent portal, selecting Infinite Campus, and selecting your child's Assessment tab. Parents / Guardians of students who took OST high school End-of-Course Exams can view their child's current graduation status by logging into the parent portal and selecting Student Graduation Status. All printed OST Family Score Reports for spring testing will be distributed by the school buildings at their beginning-of-the-year events such as Schedule Pick-Up, Meet the Teacher, and Open House. Please check with your child's fall 2019 school of enrollment for information about how they will be distributing their reports. Please note that score reports must be picked up by a parent or guardian only unless the student is 18 or older. If you have any questions, please call 614-450-6028).

WKHS PSAT/NMSQT Student/Family Communication 2019-20

Worthington Schools will be offering 10th and 11th grade students the opportunity to take College Board's Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) at the district's expense on Wednesday, October 16 during a regular school day schedule. High school is an important time to join PTO (Parent Teacher Organization). Whether you are new to Kilbourne, or you have been a part of the school for several years, joining PTO is a great way to support your student and keep in touch with the latest news from the school. A message from Coach Jon Baird: "The Kilbourne High School girls' golf team is looking for girls interested in going out for the team. Tryouts begin Thursday, August 1st." It's not too late to try out for the team! Please contact Coach Jon Baird at jbaird@ for more information. He added, "If you tried out for another sport and unfortunately did not make the team, it's still not too late to go out for the girls' golf team."
