We are looking for the fastest Pinewood Derby car of all times. If you have a derby car laying around or sitting on a shelf next to a trophy we would like to enter it in the Cadet Alumni race. This race will take place after the local derby race on February 7, you do not need to be present to race just bring your car to church and we will enter it into the big race. Make sure you have your name on it so we know who to give the trophy to.
It’s time for the church Audit. Please turn in your completed books into the Deacons Today. The Audit is to be completed by January 31, 2018.
Western Christian is seeking part-time custodial/cleaning help. We have need of someone to work approximately six hours per day from Monday through Friday. Work can be completed in the early mornings or after school/evenings. It can also be divided between two or more persons. Valentine’s Banquet - The Evangelism Committee will be once again hosting a banquet for the greater Ocheyedan area. Our focus will be on sharing God’s love together. This year’s banquet will be held, D.V., on Monday evening, February 12, 2018. Doors will open at 6:00 pm and dinner will begin at 6:30 pm. Loving Assistance Requested – The Evangelism Committee will be setting up for the annual banquet for the greater Ocheyedan area on Sunday afternoon, February 11 beginning immediately following the Sunday school hour. A light lunch will be served for all who are able to help. We will need the loving assistance of many willing hands to put up the ceiling lights; the tables and chairs, and to help with decorating the tables among other things. Please prayerfully consider joining us on Sunday afternoon, February 11 to help set up for this exciting event.
