Interview Story Assignment

All About Me Assignment

All About Me is your first writing assignment. For this assignment you will be writing a story about yourself guided by your own responses to questions on the back of this sheet. This assignment is as much a writing assignment as it is a test in your ability to follow directions. So, read carefully and progress cautiously! You will need to complete the following checklist before you can consider yourself “done”. Note: When doing any writing for this class you will double-space unless otherwise noted.

_____ I have filled out a Questionnaire about myself

_____ I have written a “ROUGH” DRAFT (DOUBLE-SPACED) copy of my story on

loose-leaf paper, which is due:

_____ I have filled out an EDITING/REVISING WORKSHEET

_____ My editing partner, ___________________________ (print full name here), has

read my story and gone through it with a red pen and has filled out the PEER

section of my EDITING/REVISING WORKSHEET

_____ I have REWRITTEN or reworked my rough draft after having met with my editing

partner making the necessary changes

_____ I have shown my ROUGH DRAFT(s) and EDITING/REVISING WORKSHEET

to my teacher and have his/her signature at the TOP of my rough draft

_____ I have completed my FINAL COPY (double-spaced) and I have stapled my

ROUGH DRAFT, EDITING/REVISING WORSHEET, and THIS

CHECKLIST behind it

_____I have outlined my written paper on note cards and practiced my 2-4 minute
