Location

Barber Creek Ranch is located in the Upper Green River basin, the headwaters of the Colorado River.

The ranch is 4? miles northwest of the town of Pinedale in Sublette County and 90 minutes from Jackson Hole. Access is via US Highway 191 and the publicly maintained Ehman and Spring Gulch graded roads. Private air service is available approximately 12 miles south of Pinedale at Wenz Municipal airport, which, with its 8,900' runway, can handle most private aircraft. Commercial service is available year-round at Jackson Hole (JAC) and Rock Springs (RKS).

Barber Creek, although historically run as a cattle operation, is the ideal ranch for the horse enthusiast with 808 deeded acres, fenced and irrigated pasture lands, dry grazing hillsides, lush creek

bottoms and ample room to roam. There is no real need for a horse trailer, as Barber Creek boasts direct access to thousands of acres of public land just through the ranch gates. However, for those accustomed to the saddle and feeling more adventurous, there are numerous trailheads throughout the Green River Basin to explore the higher elevations of the Wind River Range, Wyoming Range or Bridger Wilderness. Both on and off the ranch, there are excellent riding opportunities and varying terrain options including overnight pack trips. Between the spring branding season, fall round ups and summer cattle drives, one could easily find themselves a day's work on horseback.
