Understanding the IMSR
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has activated Emergency Support Function 4 (ESF4) to assist with the wildfires burning in Hawaii.
Two incident management teams and two overhead personnel are assigned to large fire support in Canada.
One MAFFS C-130 airtanker and support personnel from the 153rd Airlift Wing (Wyoming Air National Guard) and one MAFFS unit from the 152nd Airlift Wing (Nevada Air National Guard) have been deployed to Klamath Falls, OR to support wildland fire operations nationally.
