Our Guides

Whatever you choose to hunt with us, you can expect a quality hunt. Our guides include the owner and hand selected personnel with years of guiding experience.

Weather

The Wyoming weather during September and October is usually mild and dry. Temperatures Range from 30 to 40 degrees at night and 50 to 80 degrees during the day. Late October will be colder with a good possibility of snow.

Remember: Elevations are much higher than most people are accustomed to. Take into consideration that breathing may be difficult during some hunting situations.

License Draw

Hunting licenses in Wyoming are on a computer draw basis. Our outfit will assist you with the online application process. Elk license applications must be submitted by January 31st for non-residents. Antelope and mule deer license applications must be submitted by May 31st. License application payments must be made by credit or debit card. If you're unsuccessful in the license draw, all of your money will be refunded by Wyoming Game & Fish, minus a $14 processing fee. Please do not apply for a license without discussing it with us first, as we will not necessarily hunt the same areas from year to year.

After Obtaining License

1. Contact us as soon as possible to schedule dates for hunt.

2. DO NOT sign the carcass tag or landowner coupon attached to the tag.

3. You will need to get a Wyoming Conservation Stamp to complete your license.

4. If you were born on or after January 1, 1966, you will need to have a hunter's safety card.

Seasons

Wyoming has various opening dates in different areas. Some antelope areas open in September while other areas don't open until October. Elk season opens in September for archery and in October for Rifle. Mule deer season opens the latest, in mid-October. Bow season opens in August/September depending on game animal.
